About Petpause
Petpause is a dog walking and pet sitting service operating islandwide across Singapore, listed on KakiList with verified contact details confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.4-star rating on Google, though this is based on only 8 reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. The service is priced at a moderate level (indicated by a two-dollar-sign band), and no specific per-visit rate has been published at this time.
When getting in touch with Petpause, it helps to share your pet's size, breed, and temperament upfront, as these factors can affect the type of walking or sitting arrangement that suits best. Vaccination records — particularly DHPP and rabies for dogs — are typically required before any service begins, so having these ready will speed things along. It is worth asking whether a trial visit is available so your pet can acclimatise before a recurring schedule is confirmed. Clarify whether the service involves drop-off at a location or whether the sitter comes to your home, and discuss how often and for how long each visit would run.
To take the next step, reach out to Petpause via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to share your pet's profile, confirm vaccination requirements, and arrange a trial visit before committing to a regular schedule. Listing data is incomplete — contact Petpause directly to confirm details.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
A special heartfelt thanks to the outstanding team at PetPause for making my fur baby Lucifer’s long term stay in Singapore seem like a breeze. The amazing Joanne Lim and her team provided exceptional care for Lucifer to the extent of arranging home cooked food for Lucifer. Lucifer travelled from India to Australia via Singapore. The outstanding care and love for Lucifer provided by Petpause was evident when Lucifer was more excited to see Joanne’s team especially CS than anyone else. Joanne is on top of her game. Joanne and her team left no stone unturned to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for Lucifer, regular updates to me and ensuring compliance to all complexities of Lucifer’s travel from Singapore to Australia. Joanne is an amazing person and we are fortunate to have come to know her and Petpause. Joanne and her team have been a pillar in Lucifer’s long stay and journey from Singapore to Australia. Lucifer is now reunited with family in Australia! I strongly recommend Petpause for your fur baby/s stay and travel plans.
My cat is spending five months here due to Australia's ridiculous quarantine regulations. First time I've been able to visit her here, she was happy and healthy - long may it last - and her accommodation was spacious and clean; recommended
Had my dogs boarding at petpause for 10 days and it was an amazing experience! They keep you updated and always reply fast! Would recommend you guys to this! Definitely would come back! 🥰 Thank you so much for the services and keeping my dogs safe and sound! ❤️
Great service! My frenchie stayed 9 days total and they took very good care of her. the booking process was very smooth and the staff helping were very helpful and understanding with all my questions and concerns. Pick up/drop off service was great, no problems and the driver was very friendly and know how to handle dogs. My frenchie even gained a bit of weight whilst there which indicates to me she was happy n healthy and eating daily. Also daily video and check ins were sent to me in a whatsapp chat which i thought was a nice touch! Thank you for taking such good care of my fur’baby
They looked after our two cats after being in quarantine for 30 days better than I could ever have hoped for. I will always come to them first. The cat enclosures are large and air conditioned. They were more than happy to allow our cats to board together and would often get them out of their oversized enclosures to play. Highly recommended!

Petpause displays a moderate pricing band but has not published a specific per-visit rate, so you will need to enquire directly for a firm figure. In Singapore, dog walking typically starts from around S$20–30 per session for a 30-minute walk, while pet sitting rates vary depending on duration, whether it is an overnight arrangement, and the size or breed of the pet. Larger or more energetic dogs may attract a higher rate. Ask about any add-ons such as feeding, medication administration, or mid-day check-ins, as these are usually priced separately. Confirm whether transport costs apply if your pet needs to be collected. See the full Dog Walking and Pet Sitting cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs, most pet sitting and walking providers in Singapore require up-to-date DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies vaccinations. If boarding or group daycare is involved, a bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly requested. Vaccinations are generally expected to have been administered within the past 12 months, and you will usually need to show proof — either the vaccination card or a vet certificate — at or before the first session. Contact Petpause directly to confirm their specific vaccination policy before your pet's first visit, as requirements can vary between individual providers.
Petpause is verified on KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channels. However, no ACRA business registration or Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) licence has been recorded in the listing at this time. For dog walking and home-based pet sitting, AVS licensing requirements differ from those applying to commercial boarding facilities, but it remains worth asking the provider directly about their insurance coverage. Specifically, confirm whether they carry any form of pet insurance or public liability cover in the event your pet is injured or falls unwell during a session. Visit the facility or meeting point, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
