Families considering Picket Fence should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as infant care places — particularly for children under 18 months — are in high demand and often fill months in advance. When you visit the centre, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine for feeding, napping, and stimulation activities, the settling-in period policy for new infants, and whether the centre participates in ECDA subsidy schemes for Singapore citizen children.
To take the next step, reach out to Picket Fence directly via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to check current vacancy for your child's intended enrolment month, and arrange an in-person centre visit before committing. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Picket Fence" directly to confirm details.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

We were pleasantly surprised when our child got used to going to IFC at Picket Fence so quickly. I'm thankful for the considerate teachers and Ms Jennie for taking such good care of our child. They were responsive to enquiries on the app, and were regular with their weekly updates on activities. Our kid doesn't like to smile often, but very quickly came to enjoy the learnings and activities with the teachers
We sent our 10 month old daughter to the infant care at Picket Fence Macpherson recently. The overall experience was very good, from administrative staff to the infant teachers, they have been attentive to our enquiries and needs. We were also happy with the regular updates on our daughter's activities at the centre. The management was also kind enough to accommodate our requests when unforseen changes happened to our plan. Thank you Picket Fence @ Macpherson.
My child has been in the centre for 4 years, and both the admin and teaching staff were wonderful. Teachers are very professional, and enable students to have fun while learning, including hands-on experiments to spark their curiosity, cultural activities like calligraphy and festival celebrations to nurture their love for language and culture, and charity projects to nurture children's empathy. On top of that, my child has been dearly loved by all of her teachers, who would braid her hair after their naps and shower her with positive comments to reinforce good habits and mindset. We are very thankful that the school has prepared her well for the transition into P1.
Love the Picket Fence @ Macpherson childcare centre. The teachers are friendly, patient and responsible. My child was very happy to go to school everyday, and she enjoyed the class programs. It was a wonderful and precious experience for both my child and myself. Thank you @ all the teachers !

Picket Fence is priced at the mid-range tier ($$) for infant care in Singapore. Published monthly fees for private infant care centres typically range from S$1,500 to S$3,000 before subsidies, depending on the centre and the age of the child. Contact Picket Fence directly to confirm the exact monthly fee, as rates can vary by age band and enrolment tier. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-off registration fee, a security deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any uniform or insurance charges. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no GST should be added to the figures quoted to you. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed infant care centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month, subject to household income and the mother's working status. Working mothers who clock 56 hours or more per month may additionally claim the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy, which provides further relief on top of the Basic Subsidy. An Additional Subsidy of up to S$710 per month in combined support is available for lower-income households, assessed on a means-tested basis. Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum levels. Note that Picket Fence does not currently hold a listed ECDA licence on this directory — confirm directly with the centre whether it is ECDA-licensed before assuming subsidy eligibility. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are subject to change; always refer to the ECDA website for the most current figures.
Infant care places are among the most competitive in Singapore's childcare sector, and popular centres often fill slots six to twelve months ahead of the intended start date. It is generally advisable to begin enquiring at least three to six months before your child's expected enrolment month, with January being the peak intake period when many families start simultaneously. To secure a place, centres typically require a registration fee and, upon offer, a deposit to hold the slot. Contact Picket Fence directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's birth month and intended start date, as waitlist length can change rapidly.
