Prospective students or parents should begin by enquiring about the instrument or programme that matches the learner's current level and syllabus needs. It is worth confirming whether lessons are offered one-to-one or in small groups, and whether the school follows any recognised grading framework such as ABRSM, Trinity College London, or LCM. Asking about term-based commitment versus flexible scheduling, as well as the availability of any trial class, will help families assess fit before committing. The Pasir Ris location is accessible from Pasir Ris MRT and may suit families in the east; prospective students from other parts of Singapore should factor in travel time.

My daughter have her Drum and Electric Keyboard lesson with this school since young. The teacher Miss Pong is a nice lady and well liked by her students. She shares her knowledge selflessly and motivate students in all areas.
My daughter was sick and having a high fever. I ask the school if my daughter can have a make up class the school told me said NO as we have to inform them 24hours in advance. I told them she was sick and admitted to A&E so she could not attend the class. The lady name Ms Mickey insist no make up class. I am really speechless. How could we predict when we are sick or our kids are sick. Their method of paying piano fee is also inflexible. This is the worst and unreasonable piano school my kid have ever attended. Really a great disappointment.
Teacher Pong is the best!! Place has good vibes too. It is a school which you’d voluntarily wanna stay back even after class 😝
Receptionist very attentive and helpful. Sunday guitar lessons are very good!! I think the teacher is very detailed in his explanations!
I sat in on a class with my cousin and it is very professional. They explain the techniques and are very helpful, 100% recommend.

Pong Music School has not published a specific fee schedule in this listing, so prospective students should contact the school directly for current pricing. As a general guide, music lessons in Singapore typically run on a per-session or monthly package basis. Individual one-to-one lessons commonly range from S$40 to S$100 or more per session depending on the instrument, the teacher's experience, and lesson duration. Group classes tend to be priced lower per head. Additional costs to ask about include any registration fee, music materials or books, and examination entry fees if the school prepares students for graded exams (ABRSM, Trinity, LCM). Sibling discounts or block-booking packages may be available. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial lesson, sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of the first month's enrolment. A trial class is a useful way to gauge whether the teaching style suits the learner's personality and pace, whether the level is correctly pitched, and whether the student feels comfortable with the instructor. When attending a trial, observe how the teacher explains concepts, how they respond to mistakes, and whether the learner leaves the session feeling motivated. For younger children in particular, rapport with the teacher is often a stronger predictor of progress than the syllabus alone. Contact Pong Music School directly to confirm their trial class policy and any associated cost.
Credential information for Pong Music School's teaching staff was not available in this listing. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each teacher's music qualifications (for example, a degree or diploma in music performance or education), any graded examination results or performance background, and how many years they have been teaching. For families preparing students for ABRSM, Trinity College London, or other graded exams, it is worth confirming that the teacher has experience with the relevant syllabus and grade level. If the school cannot provide this information directly, ask to speak with the teacher before committing to a term.
