Parents or adult learners enquiring about lessons would typically want to confirm which instruments or disciplines are offered, whether tuition is structured around the ABRSM, Trinity, or LCM syllabi, and whether lessons are conducted one-to-one or in small groups. It is worth asking about the teacher's background and performance experience, the availability of trial lessons before committing to a term, and whether sessions are held exclusively at the Bugis Village centre or can be arranged at other locations. Term commitment length, make-up lesson policy, and whether group classes have a minimum enrolment threshold are all practical details to clarify before signing up.
To take the next step, contact Praise Music School directly by phone or through their enquiry form to ask about current availability for your instrument and level, confirm the lesson format, and arrange a trial class before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
A rare gem of music school. Passionate about their craft and uses good weighted keys for classes with rooms that has ample space for coach and student for a good learning experience. Am paired with a same coach throughout (if you can make it each week same time same day) and Coach Titor is amazing! Very unassuming and non intimidating method of learning. He has been patient, very skilled in his craft and my coach comes prepared for each lesson when I give him a song (that he hasn’t heard before a week ahead and he is able to teach and show me how to refine or catch it. I have probably played a very stable style for a while and Coach Titor is able to build on my foundations and or correct/ adjust to bring out the essence of the songs. Much more life, vibrancy and texture added to it. This is a music school where coaches and owner breathes and lives for music. And not business as usually only. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to advance in their music playing and or first timers.
My child is 10 year old. Who says Play By Ear is not suitable for kids? They are. In PBE, students can request for music scores which are easy to understand and improvise. My child is never exposed to playing popular music before, but after just a few months, he can play many songs like This is Home, Let it Go, 小幸运, 后来, faded, memories, a whole new world and even Christian songs etc. But popular songs is another ball game, need to improvise and have the “feel” and help kids ignite the love for music. 🎵 Thank you teacher Grace and Director Andrew for the lovely journey. #pbe #playbyear #music Dated: several months ago
I took the keyboard and vocal lessons. The instructors re friendly & pro. They re patient in understanding my needs and customised lessons accordingly. Thanks to Ms Siti & Mr Andrew. I learnt a lot from them. 👍🏻😊
Instructor is very knowledgeable and patient in explaining certain theories. I'm a slow learner but she doesn't mind repeating herself. Having a full time job with 2 children, i have to skip lessons on some weeks but the school is very accommodating and understanding when I need to reschedule. A good place to learn piano in a fun way!
I attended a 45-minute trial lesson on Pop Piano Improvisation, in 2023. I didn’t sign up after the trial due to my work schedule, but the experience was great! The instructor, a Chinese gentleman in his mid-30s (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name), managed to teach me more in that short session than I had learned in all my previous classical piano lessons. I’m definitely planning to return soon!

Praise Music School has not published a specific fee schedule on this listing, so exact per-session or monthly package rates should be confirmed directly with the school. In the Singapore market, private one-to-one music tuition at a school or music centre typically ranges from S$40 to S$100 per 30–45 minute session depending on the instrument, teacher experience, and lesson format. Group classes tend to sit at the lower end of that range. Some schools charge a registration or enrolment fee at the start of a term, and there may be exam entry fees if your child is preparing for a graded syllabus such as ABRSM or Trinity. Ask whether materials or books are included or billed separately. Sibling discounts or block-booking packages may be available. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial lesson, sometimes at a reduced rate or at the standard per-session fee, before requiring a term commitment. A trial class is a useful way to assess whether the teaching style suits your child's learning pace, whether the level pitched is appropriate, and whether the teacher is able to hold the student's attention and motivation. When attending a trial, observe how the teacher structures feedback, whether the student is engaged throughout, and how the lesson balances technical drilling with musical enjoyment. Contact Praise Music School directly to ask about their trial class policy and whether any fee applies.
Specific teacher credentials for Praise Music School are not listed in the available information. When enquiring, it is worth asking whether tutors hold a music degree or diploma from a recognised conservatory or university, whether they have practical performance experience, and whether they are accredited or endorsed by examining bodies such as ABRSM or Trinity College London. For students pursuing graded examinations, it is also helpful to confirm whether tutors have experience preparing students for the specific syllabus you intend to follow. If this information is not readily available, ask the school directly — a reputable music school will be transparent about its teaching team's backgrounds.
