Families considering Rain Trees International Kindergarten are encouraged to enquire early about available slots for their intended start month, as popular preschools can fill up several months in advance. When you make contact, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine and curriculum approach, and the length of the settling-in period. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce the monthly cost depending on household income and the mother's employment status. We started our son at Rain Trees March 2025. It has been the best education experience for our son and a great ride for us as parents. We selected Rain Trees for its commitment to educate a diverse group of children particularly focusing on building independence, confidence, sense of query, curiosity, creativity and of course early childhood numeracy and literacy skills. Rain Trees is one of the best schools in Singapore that provides all the above at a very high standard. Educators at Rain Trees are attentive, knowledgeable and supportive. They have helped our son to grow at his pivotal moments in his life. School leaders are amazing as well for their vision, ability to execute, and their strong beliefs in education. We saw our son thrive at Rain Trees and would highly recommend the school to anyone who’s looking for a dynamic, supportive, diverse, and vibrant learning environment for the children. The school is full of details that show the educators’ love. They have really meaningful and engaging activities and events for both children and the parents all year long. I also particularly love their outdoor environment - the beautiful back garden they have just provided lots of fun and opportunities for children to enjoy and explore! Overall a huge thumbs up! Highly recommend!
Finding the right kindergarten is a big deal, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. What stands out the most is the amazing community of teachers. They work together so seamlessly and create a wonderfully supportive environment for the children to grow and learn. The whole atmosphere of the school is just incredibly friendly and warm from the moment you walk in. My child loves going to school here, and as a working parent, knowing they are in such great hands gives me total peace of mind. Thank you to the wonderful team. Kudos to Rohini Ramadas for building such a wonderful community of parents and teachers. Thank you!
If you are looking for a place where your child will feel truly seen, safe and gently guided into kindergarten and preschool life, Raintree International Kindergarten has been that place for us! From the very beginning, the environment has been nurturing, calm, fun, inspiring and warm hearted. As this was our son’s first experience stepping into kindergarten life, the foundation and love they have built in him for learning and being social has been incredible. He walks in with confidence and joy, which says everything. The teachers are incredibly attentive to the details and to each child’s particular interests, meeting them with patience and warmth. The outdoor space is truly unique. The garden, the fresh air, the daily outdoor time and sensory play are such a gift. It feels rare and intentional, giving the children room to explore, move and grow in a very natural way. We are especially thankful for the Butterflies class and the wonderful teachers there. Honestly, we could not have imagined a better place for our son to begin his school journey.
Raintrees International Kindergarten offers early childhood education with a focus on creativity, language, and holistic development. The kindergarten features modern facilities that support a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
My son attended Rain Trees from age 18 months to 3.5 years. We have since relocated and the experience of finding a new school for him in our new country has truly made me appreciate what we had at Rain Trees. The community that the teachers and staff have built is truly unique and I felt like not just my son, but my husband and I were a part of the school family. There are frequent opportunities for parental involvement, ranging from cooking classes to reading, to art auctions and field trips. The care and personal attention that we received is hard to beat. The school administrators also make it a point to get to know everyone and provide support. We miss you guys!

Rain Trees International Kindergarten is listed at the S$$ price range, which is typical for international kindergartens in Singapore. Full-day preschool fees at private and international centres generally range from around S$1,500 to S$3,500 or more per month depending on curriculum, facilities, and programme length. You should ask the centre directly for its current fee schedule before making any decisions. Beyond the monthly fee, factor in a one-off registration fee, a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months of fees), and any charges for uniform or personal accident insurance. Childcare and kindergarten fees are GST-exempt in Singapore, so the quoted monthly figure is what you pay. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Government subsidies for childcare and kindergarten in Singapore are administered by ECDA and are available only for Singapore citizen children enrolled in ECDA-licensed centres. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. The Additional Subsidy is income-tested and can bring the combined subsidy to up to S$710 per month for lower-income families. The Working Mother's Child Relief is a separate tax relief rather than a direct fee reduction. For kindergartens specifically, the KiFAS (Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme) is available at eligible anchor and partner operators. Singapore Permanent Resident children may qualify for partial subsidies at lower quantum. As subsidy amounts and qualifying criteria are reviewed periodically, contact ECDA directly or visit their official website for the most current figures before assuming eligibility at this centre.
Waitlists at well-regarded preschools and international kindergartens in Singapore are common, and families are generally advised to enquire at least three to six months before the intended start date. Infant care places in particular can be booked six to twelve months in advance. The primary school year begins in January, making that the peak intake month for many programmes, so families aiming for a January start should begin their enquiries no later than mid-year. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and sometimes a deposit. Contact Rain Trees International Kindergarten directly by phone or through the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month, as waitlist situations change frequently.
