About Renes Cleaning
Renes Cleaning provides part-time cleaning services islandwide from its base at 3 Simon Road. The listing has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed. It holds a 3.3/5 rating across 38 Google reviews — a moderate sample, though the below-average score warrants attention before booking.
When enquiring, confirm the hourly rate and minimum session length (typically three to four hours), whether the service is a one-off clean, a recurring weekly arrangement, or a specialist deep clean, and whether equipment and supplies are included or homeowner-provided. If you are considering a foreign helper, you should confirm that Renes Cleaning deploys them via a MOM-licensed cleaning company — direct hire of foreign freelancers is illegal under MOM rules and exposes the homeowner to fines of S$5,000–10,000 and a two-year ban on hiring any domestic helpers. Singaporean and PR helpers may be hired without this constraint. Ask about the substitute policy if your regular helper is unavailable, and whether public liability insurance is in place to cover accidental damage during a session.
Contact Renes Cleaning via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm availability for your preferred slot and request a written quote before any payment is made.
If the helper is foreign, confirm the company's MOM cleaning business licence before booking — the penalty for hiring an unlicensed foreign freelancer lands on you, not them.
We have been a customer of the laundromat for more than 15 years. On one occasion, they spoilt an outfit and as their way of apology, said that they would give us a credit note of $30. Although the cost of the dress cost more than that, we took the option to accept their apology. Today when I went in to ask them to dry clean another outfit, the young girl at the counter was rude and told me that there was an outstanding payment of $20 (instead of a credit balance of $10). Throughout the exchange, she rolled her eyes. She called another employee who was later acknowledged we could proceed with the $10 store credit. But the customer service was appalling. Truly disappointed that the service standard has dropped after all these years. I left without dry cleaning the outfit, but was more disappointed that after years of support, this is the service standard rendered on the front line.
Sigh what happened? 4 yrs ago I was a frequent customer before shifting but I have shifted back to Kovan and went back to Renee immediately for dry cleaning Was kinda surprised to see the kindly old lady wasn't there and there was someone younger but heck the attitude is kinda shocking I dont reallt expect 5 star service or what not but at least be responsive or when you talk to someone look at them Increased charges is fine esp for Express but heck the attitude man
Please do not send your cherished pieces here as this shop takes ZERO responsibility for items that they have damaged. They also did not have the decency to inform me of the damage and no attempts were made for any service recovery as well. It is clear that the badge on my puffer was RIPPED off by force. Flippant response from the shop owner when contacted, as quoted by her: "no choice due to wear and tear by the machine and heat". Never before encountered at other laundromats. Visit at your own risk!
I have no words. See by yourself. I usually go with Presto which has never disappointed me. After moving to Kovan, I couldn't find Presto nearby. So, took a chance with Renee and this is what I am paid with. I gave 4 jackets, my down jacket fluffiness is gone, I can still manage to live with it, but this particular winter blue jacket is completely ruined.
The shop never kept to their promises in Delivery Date, at first said they will deliver to doorstep in 1 week's time, but failed to do so. And then they say 2 weeks, again didn't deliver. In the end we call them and they say their deliveryman is too busy to deliver??? What kind of excuse is this if it takes the deliveryman a whole 2 weeks to deliver something. Also terrible counter lady who seldom picks up calls with a cold tone. Please avoid this shop.

Part-time cleaning services in Singapore typically run S$18–25 per hour from licensed companies, with a minimum of three to four hours per visit. One-off deep cleans range from S$150–800 depending on property size, post-renovation cleans S$350–1,800, and pre-move-in cleans S$400–2,500. Confirm with Renes Cleaning whether equipment and supplies are included or homeowner-provided, and whether a fixed quote is available for one-off jobs versus the hourly rate for recurring arrangements. Foreign part-time helpers must be deployed by a MOM-licensed cleaning company — direct hire from Carousell, Facebook, or WhatsApp groups is illegal under MOM rules. The penalty of S$5,000–10,000 and a two-year ban on hiring any domestic helpers falls on the homeowner, not the cleaner. Before booking, confirm whether Renes Cleaning holds the relevant MOM cleaning business licence for deploying foreign helpers. Singaporean and PR helpers can be engaged directly without these constraints. If the company cannot confirm its licensed status in writing, it is advisable to seek an alternative provider.
Public liability insurance — S$500,000 minimum is standard in this industry — covers damage to property or belongings during a session. Ask Renes Cleaning for the policy number in writing before your first booking. A reliable part-time cleaning company will send a trained substitute within 24 hours if your regular helper is sick or on leave, rather than leaving the session uncovered. Confirm whether Renes Cleaning operates a regular-helper model, where the same person is assigned each visit, or a booking-pool model, where helpers rotate — consistency matters for trust and familiarity with your home. No regulatory licences are currently recorded for this listing on KakiList, so these questions are especially important to raise directly.
If Renes Cleaning isn't the right fit, these are other part-time helper providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
