About Replugged Music

About Replugged Music

Replugged Music is a music school based at Bugis Village, offering tuition islandwide and verified on KakiList with an active ACRA registration. It holds a perfect 5-out-of-5 rating on Google, though this is drawn from 11 reviews, so the signal should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) level, though specific fee details are not publicly listed.

Prospective students or parents should start by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether that means beginner foundations, grade examinations (such as ABRSM or Trinity), or a more informal creative approach. It is worth asking about the format of lessons (one-to-one versus group), the instruments taught, term-based versus monthly commitments, and whether lessons are conducted in-person at the Victoria Street location or available in other formats. Asking about the instructor's background and experience with specific syllabuses will help you assess whether the teaching style suits the learner's goals and personality.

To take the next step, reach out to Replugged Music via phone or their enquiry form to ask about lesson availability, the possibility of a trial class, and current pricing before committing to a term.

Great experience learning Ukulele in group & private class from Kenyang. As a student coming from a non musically trained background; he was able to adjust teaching style to suit my music learning. Would strongly recommend taking his classes.

Started learning Ukulele at Replugged Music in a group setting. The instructor Kang Yang is very friendly, patient and teach according to individual's pace. I continue to learn Pop Piano from Kang Yang when Ukulele program completed. He managed to keep me interested in learning and always introduce new stuff every week! It has been a year and I'm still looking forward to go for lesson every week. Highly recommended!

Being an adult learner who doesn’t have a lot of time to practise, I must complement Kang Yang for his amazing level of patience. Under his tutelage, I have learnt 3 instruments. Best music school in Singapore with a cosy environment, and great teachers. #youwontregret

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Replugged Music charge per session?

Replugged Music displays a mid-range ($$) price indicator but does not publicly list specific session or package fees. Music tuition in Singapore typically ranges from around S$40–80 per session for group classes and S$60–150 or more for one-to-one lessons, depending on the instructor's credentials and the instrument taught. Some schools charge a registration or materials fee at enrolment, and certain examination-track programmes may require separate entry fees for graded assessments. Package or term-based pricing is common — monthly retainers or per-term bundles often work out more economical than pay-per-session arrangements. Ask directly about sibling discounts or multi-subject packages if applicable. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate, before asking you to sign up for a term. A trial is a good opportunity to assess whether the teaching pace and style suit the learner — for younger children especially, the rapport between student and teacher is often as important as the syllabus content. During a trial, observe whether the instructor adjusts to the student's current level, explains concepts clearly, and maintains engagement throughout the session. Contact Replugged Music directly to ask about their trial class policy and what the session covers, so you can make a well-informed decision before committing to a longer-term arrangement.

What are the tutors' credentials at Replugged Music?

Replugged Music's listing does not include specific information about instructor qualifications. For a music school, relevant credentials typically include formal music degrees or diplomas (such as those from LASALLE, NAFA, or overseas conservatories), ABRSM or Trinity teaching diplomas, and experience preparing students for graded examinations or performance. It is worth asking the school directly about the background of the instructor assigned to your lessons, their familiarity with the specific syllabus you intend to follow, and how long they have been teaching. Years of teaching experience and a track record with examination-track students are particularly relevant if you have specific grading goals.
