Seems like the positive reviews were at most 1 year ago. Been a week since the burial of my beloved late mum. Full payment had been made for the whole procedure. Agreed on some reviews that they were in always in a rush to get things done. Even during talkin it was combined (jamak) by another company while our ustaz just stood by smiling. Waited patiently with hope that the carpeted grass were installed at least. But nothing was done at all. The ones who were buried after our late mum had their carpet and tombstone done. We took a walk around the block and noticed that ALL graves that were processed by SMC were left untouched by them. In the hot weather locally, all the soil were dried and hardened. While the others done by other company looked better with the carpet grass. Texted Fadhil but no apology no service recovery. Though it was stated "free service" upon full payment, it is still part of the package. We didnt even aske to install the dapur2. Just lay the carpet grass so that the soil won't be so dry until hardened. Such a disappointment. Amanah sudah diberi tapi tal dijalankan. Astarghfirullahal'azim

It saddens me that I have to do this. I have NEVER bothered to give reviews but when it involves a grieving family and a deceased. This has to be done so it will not happen to anyone else. For context, I am sending my late mother that I have been her caregiver all this while. Working with them was a totally nightmare from the start, till the end. The communication was all over the place. A lot of uncertainties and there was no one who was giving clear advice or guidance to us until at the very last minute. The bus driver - rude, keep asking the passengers to move faster, board faster and we were treated like we are the reason for him to be late for his next appointment. The imam - I’m sorry to say this, but he shows zero compassion. Everything was a rush. During the solat Jenazah, the intervals between the 4 Takbir was so short. I didn’t have the chance and opportunity to even finish my al fatihah properly. And I didn’t get a chance to do a proper doa for my late mother during that moment. That was the last doa that I can do for my mother before she is going to get buried, and they took that away from me. Subahanallah. During the actual burial, the final tazkirah was done like it was forced. Non of my family members heard what he was saying because it was too muffled by his microphone. Instead we were more moved by another Ustaz at the other lot giving his tazkirah to another deceased. Finally, we engaged them to have a tahlil right after the burial, the same Ustaz came over to our place. He seem like he was unhappy and forced to be there. Started the tahlil, look up at us and say he will make a move first. Everyone was shook, he did not even read surah Yaseen. It was just a normal doa Selamat that lasted for about 15mins. I really didn’t want to do this, as I’m still in grief. But this is not right. If the company is packed, say it’s packed. We will find another company that is able to assist us and give their full service. To the management, please look into this. This is just not right.

I engaged Khairat Kematian / Singapore Muslim Casket for my late aunt’s burial. On the very day of her burial, while we were on the way to the washing site, I received a call from one of their staff who raised his voice and shouted at me over a form I had filled in “wrongly.” Firstly, grieving families do not bury loved ones every day, so it is unreasonable to expect us to know every detail of their paperwork. Secondly, the call was on speakerphone, and my son, daughter, another aunt and her husband all heard the way I was spoken to. It was disrespectful, insensitive, and unprofessional at such a delicate time. Funeral services should provide compassion and guidance, not stress and humiliation. This experience left a very bad impression and added unnecessary pain to an already difficult day. I hope the company reflects on their approach and treats grieving families with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Fadhil and his team from Singapore Muslim Casket really helped to guide us (non-muslim) all the way. Really appreciate their services in sending my uncle in his final journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Saith Services (Jenazah SG) charge?

Saith Services (Jenazah SG) displays a '$$' price indicator, but a specific package price has not been published. Muslim jenazah services in Singapore typically vary depending on the components included — bathing and shrouding, funeral prayers, hearse transport, burial coordination, and additional religious rites can each carry separate charges or be bundled into a package. Confirm the full itemised cost in writing before any arrangement is confirmed, including transport, any coordination fees with MUIS or the burial authority, and whether after-hours or urgent arrangements carry a surcharge. See the full eldercare and funeral services cost guide for Singapore →

Does Saith Services (Jenazah SG) offer live-in or visit-based care?

Saith Services (Jenazah SG) is a funeral services provider, not a home care or eldercare agency in the traditional sense. Their scope covers jenazah (funeral) arrangements for the deceased rather than ongoing personal care, companionship, or medical support for elderly individuals. Families looking for live-in caregivers or visit-based home nursing for an elderly relative should seek a separate AIC-registered home care provider or a MOM-licensed employment agency. Contact Saith Services directly to clarify the exact services they offer and how they can support your family at the time of need.

Is the team at Saith Services (Jenazah SG) trained and insured?

No regulatory licences have been recorded for Saith Services (Jenazah SG) on this listing. Muslim funeral services in Singapore are generally coordinated in accordance with MUIS guidelines, and practitioners involved in mandi jenazah (ritual bathing) are typically trained through mosque or community religious bodies. No AIC registration or MOH clinical licence is expected for a funeral services provider as distinct from a home nursing or eldercare agency. Before engaging, ask the team directly about their religious training credentials, their working relationship with MUIS and burial authorities, and whether they carry any form of professional or public liability insurance. Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
