Thankyou Suzana for sharing so generously the Cuban Salsa culture, rhythms, styles and important principles of being good leaders and followers (aka “trolleys”). It’s so much information yet you manage to distill a clear sense of what makes a dancer aesthetically pleasing (and less like a Newbie) … Frame , Form , Lines / Line up etc .. Such wonderful energy in our class from a very diverse group …it’s fun (and a leeetle bit stressful/TMI) but I am loving it. You’re a great teacher .. with sharp eyes at back of your head >
What can I say, but wow! Our friendship started way back when it started for her, but only very recently have I had the grand opportunity to learn from her. If ever you are looking for a teacher full of heart, one who teaches with lots of patience yet making it fun n easy to understand - Suzana's the one for you! Awesome experience with her. Thank you Suzana, for being an a-friggin-mazing cikgu 😊
Attended Suzana's lady styling Bachata class. Authentic, undiluted Bachata with lady style elements in it. I appreciated that she went through the Bachata basics in details, including some history of the cultural dance which is missing in most classes everywhere else. Learnt a lot and looking forward to more classes again.
Salsa Cubana’s instructor Suzanna teaches her classes ensuring that students understand some culture and history of the dance form and accompanying music. As much as she emphasises the structure of dance, she teaches with the aim of conscious dancing, embracing the body, music and dance. She accommodates every experience level patiently. Hence, even if one has two left feet, this organization most probably might change your thought.
I’ve been taking Suzana’s class since last year and absolutely love it! She’s incredibly passionate about teaching and brings so much energy to every class. She makes the lessons fun and engaging, and she genuinely cares about her students’ improvement. You can clearly see how much she wants each of us to grow and become better dancers. Highly recommend her classes if you’re looking to learn, laugh, and level up your dancing!

Salsa Cubana Singapore is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), but specific per-session fees, monthly package rates, and term fees are not publicly displayed on this listing. In Singapore, dance school classes typically run on a per-session, monthly, or fixed-term basis, with group classes generally more affordable than one-to-one instruction. It is common for studios to offer a discounted trial class, and some provide package deals that reduce the effective per-session cost when paid upfront. Before enrolling, confirm whether there are additional costs for materials (such as practice shoes or event attire), registration fees, or sibling discounts. Contact Salsa Cubana Singapore directly via WhatsApp or phone for a current fee schedule. See the full Dance Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced rate or occasionally complimentary for first-time attendees. A trial session gives you the opportunity to assess whether the teaching style, pace, and class level suit you before committing to a full term or package. When attending a trial, pay attention to how the instructor breaks down footwork and timing, whether the class size allows for individual feedback, and whether the energy of the room matches what you are looking for. Ask Salsa Cubana Singapore directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form whether a trial class is available and what the associated cost is.
Instructor credentials are not listed in the publicly available information for Salsa Cubana Singapore. For a dance school, relevant signals to ask about include the instructors' competitive or performance background, years of teaching experience, and any formal certifications from recognised dance bodies. For salsa and Cuban-style dance specifically, there is no single mandatory licensing body in Singapore, so practical teaching experience, student outcomes, and a consistent teaching methodology matter more than formal paper qualifications. It is worth asking directly which instructors lead the classes you are considering and whether you can observe a session before committing. Contact Salsa Cubana Singapore via WhatsApp or phone to ask about instructor backgrounds.
