Enquiring families and individuals should begin by confirming which level and format suits their goals — beginner recreational archery, youth development, or competitive coaching. It is worth asking whether sessions are conducted in groups or on a one-to-one basis, what the term commitment looks like, and whether a trial class is available before signing up for a full package. As the venue is at West Coast Park, do check the session schedule to plan travel accordingly, and confirm whether equipment is provided or needs to be sourced separately.
To get started, reach out to Salt Light Archery via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current availability, upcoming intakes, and trial class options.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I’ve tried archery before, but the experience here is very different. I feel so blessed to be trained by the center manager Coach Caryn, a beautiful yet incredibly talented coach. She is very encouraging, patient, and professional, and I can clearly see my improvement while genuinely having fun learning. What sets her apart is her experience and ability to spot and correct small details that make a big difference over time. Highly recommended! already recommending my friends and looking forward to coming back again 🤞
We booked a one hour modern recurve guided fun shoot today. Going in with zero experience and no expectations, we were truly surprised by how fun the entire session turned out. Mei was really friendly, encouraging, and engaging throughout the entire session which flew by faster than our arrows. She looked out for safety and kept the entire shoot fun from start to finish. Definitely recommended if you haven’t tried archery before and want a great way to spend the afternoon with friends or loved ones.
Booked an 1 hour guided fun shoot and May was assigned to us. She was with us the whole 1 hour and we appreciate May’s constant guidance and encouragement, she even gave tips to us! 1 hour passed by very fast and we really enjoyed as first timers ☺️ There is even a surprise gift for winning a game! Will definitely recommend to everyone and thank you May! - Cherry
We booked this place for a small gathering and was initially hesitant about trying it. However, it turned out to be an amazing experience! We opted for a package that included a trainer and some interactive games, which made the session even more enjoyable. The trainer was fantastic—funny, engaging, and very interactive. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and understood how to play. At first, we were just learning the basics, but soon we got the hang of it and started having a great time. As we became more confident, the friendly competition kicked in, making the experience even more exciting. There was even a mini prize for the winner, which added a nice touch. But in the end, it wasn’t about winning—it was about having fun and bonding with friends. Time flew by because we were so immersed in the experience. If you’re looking for a unique and entertaining way to bond with friends or colleagues, I highly recommend trying this out. It’s a great way to enjoy some laughter, teamwork, and friendly rivalry all in one session. Definitely a must-try for anyone seeking a fun and memorable gathering!!
Highly recommended. It was a fun experience and definitely will come again soon. Thanks Coach May for her patience and instruction. She’s patient, kind and professional. She’s fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Salt Light Archery's pricing is not publicly listed, so it is best to enquire directly for current session fees, package rates, and term commitments. In the Singapore market, sport enrichment classes of this type are typically priced on a per-session or monthly package basis, with group sessions generally more affordable than one-to-one coaching. When enquiring, ask whether there is a separate registration or materials fee, whether equipment hire is included, and if any sibling or multi-session discounts apply. A trial class fee, if available, may differ from the standard session rate. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many sport enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial session so that prospective students can assess whether the format, level, and coaching style are a good fit before committing to a term or package. It is worth asking Salt Light Archery directly whether a trial class is available and what the fee, if any, would be. During a trial, look out for how well the instruction is paced for your current ability, whether the group size allows for adequate individual attention, and whether the environment feels comfortable and encouraging. These factors matter as much as the technical content when choosing a sport class for ongoing participation.
Credential information for Salt Light Archery's instructors is not publicly listed. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about coaching qualifications — for archery, relevant certifications may include those issued by the Singapore Archery Association or World Archery, as well as any national or international competitive experience the instructors bring to their teaching. Also worth asking is how long the lead coaches have been teaching, and whether instruction is tailored to different age groups or ability levels. Coaches with a background in structured progression and safety protocols are particularly important in a target sport like archery.
