Prospective students or parents should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the dance styles and class structures align with the student's age, experience, and goals. It is worth asking whether Sarva Fine Arts offers a trial class before committing to a term, and whether classes are run in groups or on a one-to-one basis. Clarifying the term commitment structure, any materials or costume fees, and whether classes are conducted in-person at Serangoon Road or available online will help families plan accordingly. Sibling discounts or package pricing are also worth raising at the point of enquiry.
To take the next step, reach out to Sarva Fine Arts via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current class schedules, available levels, and trial class arrangements before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Sarva Fine Arts is a great place under the leadership of multitalented Guru Shylu, to learn how to dance Kathak, Bharatnatyam, other dances and music without being judged. Lessons held by Kathak Teacher Deepmala are fun and they changed my life by giving me the skills and confidence to dance. Sarva’s instructors are of top notch and they are extremely talented and helpful who teach people of all ages and skill. My daughter’s enthusiasm in learning Bharatnatyam can be seen her progress and involvement. Sarva has lots of group classes every week in many dance styles. Apart from learning, the school provides lots of opportunities to apply the skill through performances at many platforms around the year. Prices are very affordable and reasonable for the quality of the dance lessons. Thank you Sarva Fine Arts and team.
I joined Sarva as Bharatnatyam student, three months ago, and it has been a fantastic experience. The gurus are dedicated, the staff is supportive, and the opportunities to perform are plenty—a big plus for someone like me who dreams of carrying forward our rich classical traditions. If you’re looking to learn an Indian classical art form, I can say with confidence—you won’t regret joining Sarva!
Sarva fine arts by Ms.Shylu Winston is a wonderful place to learn dance. They are very professional and create lot of opportunities for the students to expose their talents and passion. It's a place where students are not just taught, but inspired to explore the depths of their artistic potential. My daughter's experience learning Bharatanatyam from the exceptional teacher Ms. Shailaja Kaza Bala is a testament to this. Ms. Shailaja's patience, unwavering professionalism, and profound skill create a nurturing environment where children not only learn, but truly fall in love with the art. Her radiant smile is a constant source of encouragement, and her ability to tailor her teaching to each child's unique potential is truly inspiring. Sarva Fine Arts doesn't just teach dance; it cultivates dreams and empowers young artists to shine . Special mention to admin team, especially Ms.Valli ,She is very helpful and always available and supportive at all times.
Its been almost 2 years my daughter has been learning Bharatanatyam and Carnatic vocals from Sarva Fine Arts. It has been a great experience, with wonderful and talented gurus. I would like to specially mention Ms Shailaja Kaza Bala mam for her dedication in teaching bharatanatyam, her patience and way of teaching the dance form is commendable. It has also been a wonderful experience to learn vocals from Ms Soujanya mam. The exposure given by Sarva team to all the kids, whether it be their way of teaching or stage performances has indeed improved kids confidence level. Thank you Guru Shylu and Sarva Team☺️👏
My Kathak training started six months ago at the Little India branch of Sarva Fine Arts, under the guidance of Guru Deepmalaji. Currently, I am continuing my studies with Guru Ronyji. Due to travel commitments in April and June, I have accumulated more than six credits. I am immensely grateful to Ms. Nurul and Ms. Madhu for their assistance in arranging compensation classes. I am pleased to be associated with a school that has such accommodating and understanding individuals.

Sarva Fine Arts displays a mid-range pricing tier ($$), but specific per-session rates, monthly packages, or term fees are not publicly listed. Dance schools in Singapore typically charge S$30–80 per session for group classes, with 1-to-1 tuition running higher. Monthly or term-based packages are common and often work out cheaper than paying per session. It is worth asking about a trial class fee (if any), whether materials, costumes, or recital costs are charged separately, and whether sibling or multi-class discounts apply. Contact Sarva Fine Arts directly via WhatsApp or phone for a current fee schedule. See the full Dance Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of a first-session rate — before asking students to commit to a full term. A trial is a practical way to assess whether the teaching style, class pace, and group dynamic suit the student's age and experience level. During a trial, observe how the instructor manages the class, whether students of similar ability are grouped together, and whether the student appears engaged and comfortable. If a trial is not offered as standard, it is reasonable to ask whether an observation session or short introductory lesson can be arranged before signing up for a term. Contact Sarva Fine Arts via WhatsApp or the enquiry form to confirm their trial class policy and availability.
Instructor credentials are not publicly listed for Sarva Fine Arts. For dance schools, relevant qualifications may include formal training from recognised institutions, graded examination certifications (such as those from ABRSM, RAD, or Bharatanatyam tradition bodies), years of performance or teaching experience, and syllabus alignment with any examinations the school prepares students for. It is advisable to ask directly about the lead instructor's background, teaching experience, and any affiliations with recognised dance bodies before enrolling. This is particularly important if the student intends to sit graded examinations or progress into more advanced training. Sarva Fine Arts can be contacted by WhatsApp, phone, or enquiry form to discuss instructor qualifications.
