About "SDM Childcare Centre"
SDM Childcare Centre is a preschool and kindergarten provider based at Choa Chu Kang Ave 1, Singapore 689464. The centre is both KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, and carries a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5, though this is based on 16 reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional rather than definitive. Families considering SDM Childcare Centre should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as places — particularly for younger age groups — can be limited. When visiting the centre, it is worth asking about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the structure of the daily routine, and how the settling-in period is handled to ease the transition for younger children. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce the net monthly fee depending on household income and working status.
To take the next step, contact SDM Childcare Centre directly via phone or the enquiry form to check current availability for your child's age group and to arrange a centre visit before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Leaving our one-year-old was so hard, but the team at SDM made it easy. His teachers are so warm and nurturing. We get updates throughout the day, and nothing beats seeing his big smile at pickup. He's happy, safe, and thriving. We are so grateful!
Enroll my child for infant class here. The teachers are attentive and friendly. They know the children well. Given that some children will develop preference for teachers, but my child has largely enjoy going to infantcare. They provide interesting and educational activities for the children and we receive weekly photos of children's activities. The food is nutritious. They give sufficient food and they are able to pace with children's development for eating. Daily updates are regular. The teachers also give feedback about my child's development through regular parent-teacher meeting The room is air-conned. They provide updates when there are outbreaks (e.g. HFMD, COVID). Admin process is smooth and hassle-free. Area of improvement: They could provide spare diapers for infants for when parents forgot to top up children's diapers.
My daughter has been attending this childcare centre for around 8 months, and we’ve had a generally good experience. She likes to attend Tiny Tots where she can play some sports during her time in school. The staff are friendly and will answer most of our queries. Like any centre, there’s always room to grow, but we appreciate the effort the team puts into the children’s well-being and development. Overall, we’re thankful for the support and care our child has received here.
Our experience with SDM @CCK has been wonderful. My daughter joined the playgroup class at 18 months old, and she absolutely loves going to school every day. The diversity among the teachers, with Chinese, Malay, and Indian backgrounds, adds a warm and inclusive atmosphere that truly feels comfortable for her. The teachers are very caring, and as a working mother, I feel completely at ease knowing she’s in safe hands. The school keeps us well-informed through their app, with prompt updates on everything, including even the smallest details like slight flu or minor scratch, often with photos attached. This level of communication gives me such peace of mind. Thank you, SDM@CCK , for creating such a supportive and nurturing environment for our little ones!
Both my kids really enjoy their time in school! We are very thankful for the caring and nurturing teachers at SDM in creating a conducive environment for my children to grow and learn. We are also very thankful for the supportive administrative staff who helped make the registration process very smooth.

SDM Childcare Centre is listed in the mid-range ($$) tier for Singapore childcare. Full-day childcare at a private centre typically runs from around S$1,200 to S$2,000 per month before subsidies, with infant care generally at the higher end of that range. Contact the centre directly to confirm the current monthly fee for your child's age group. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-time registration fee, a refundable deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms or personal accident insurance. Childcare fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no GST should be added to the quoted rate. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children attending a licensed childcare centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMCS), which can further reduce out-of-pocket costs. Households with a gross monthly income at or below S$12,000 may be eligible for the Additional Subsidy, which is income-tested and can bring the combined subsidy to up to S$710 per month. Singapore Permanent Resident children receive partial subsidies at a lower quantum than citizens. For kindergarten programmes, the KiFAS (Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme) may apply separately. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are subject to change. Always verify the latest figures directly with ECDA at go.gov.sg/ecda before making financial plans.
Popular childcare centres in Singapore, especially those with strong reputations, can have waiting periods of three to twelve months or longer. Infant care places are particularly limited and tend to fill up fastest. Families are generally advised to begin enquiring at least three to six months before the intended start date, and earlier if you are targeting a January intake, which is the busiest enrolment period of the year. To secure a place once offered, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact SDM Childcare Centre directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and to get on the waitlist if spaces are not immediately available.
