Families interested in securing a place should enquire early about slot availability for their intended start month, as infant care vacancies — particularly in established centres — can fill up well in advance. When you make contact, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine for infants, and the settling-in period so your child can adjust gradually to the new environment. It is also worth discussing ECDA subsidies, which are available to Singapore citizen children and can meaningfully reduce the monthly fee you pay out of pocket.
To take the next step, reach out to SDM Childcare Centre via phone or the enquiry form to check current infant care availability and arrange a centre visit, where you can meet the caregiving team and see the environment first-hand before making any commitment.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Leaving our one-year-old was so hard, but the team at SDM made it easy. His teachers are so warm and nurturing. We get updates throughout the day, and nothing beats seeing his big smile at pickup. He's happy, safe, and thriving. We are so grateful!
Enroll my child for infant class here. The teachers are attentive and friendly. They know the children well. Given that some children will develop preference for teachers, but my child has largely enjoy going to infantcare. They provide interesting and educational activities for the children and we receive weekly photos of children's activities. The food is nutritious. They give sufficient food and they are able to pace with children's development for eating. Daily updates are regular. The teachers also give feedback about my child's development through regular parent-teacher meeting The room is air-conned. They provide updates when there are outbreaks (e.g. HFMD, COVID). Admin process is smooth and hassle-free. Area of improvement: They could provide spare diapers for infants for when parents forgot to top up children's diapers.
My daughter has been attending this childcare centre for around 8 months, and we’ve had a generally good experience. She likes to attend Tiny Tots where she can play some sports during her time in school. The staff are friendly and will answer most of our queries. Like any centre, there’s always room to grow, but we appreciate the effort the team puts into the children’s well-being and development. Overall, we’re thankful for the support and care our child has received here.
Our experience with SDM @CCK has been wonderful. My daughter joined the playgroup class at 18 months old, and she absolutely loves going to school every day. The diversity among the teachers, with Chinese, Malay, and Indian backgrounds, adds a warm and inclusive atmosphere that truly feels comfortable for her. The teachers are very caring, and as a working mother, I feel completely at ease knowing she’s in safe hands. The school keeps us well-informed through their app, with prompt updates on everything, including even the smallest details like slight flu or minor scratch, often with photos attached. This level of communication gives me such peace of mind. Thank you, SDM@CCK , for creating such a supportive and nurturing environment for our little ones!
Both my kids really enjoy their time in school! We are very thankful for the caring and nurturing teachers at SDM in creating a conducive environment for my children to grow and learn. We are also very thankful for the supportive administrative staff who helped make the registration process very smooth.

SDM Childcare Centre operates on a monthly recurring fee model, priced at a mid-range level for Singapore infant care. Beyond the monthly fee itself, families should ask about a one-time registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to two months of fees), and any costs for uniforms or group insurance. Childcare fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the fee quoted should be the amount you pay. It is advisable to confirm the full fee breakdown in writing when you enquire, including what is covered within the monthly fee — such as meals, nappies, and enrichment activities — and what may be billed separately. Singapore citizen children enrolled in licensed infant care centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month for infant care. Working mothers who clock 56 or more hours of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Development Co-Savings (WMS) subsidy. Families with a gross monthly household income below the applicable threshold may also apply for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring the combined subsidy to up to S$710 per month when stacked with WMS. Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at a lower quantum. Subsidy amounts are subject to change, and eligibility conditions apply, so parents should consult the ECDA website directly for the most current figures and application process. Confirm with SDM Childcare Centre whether the centre participates in the relevant subsidy schemes before enrolling.
Infant care places in Singapore are in high demand, and it is common for popular centres to have waitlists stretching three to twelve months ahead. January is a peak intake month when many slots turn over, so families expecting a baby or planning a return to work should enquire as early as possible — ideally four to six months before the intended start date. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact SDM Childcare Centre directly via phone or the enquiry form to check current infant care availability, as slot positions can change at short notice. Placing your name on a waitlist early gives you the best chance of securing a vacancy for your preferred start month.
