When enquiring, it helps to have your pet's size, breed, and coat type ready, as these typically influence grooming duration and pricing. Vaccination records are usually requested before a first appointment, so have your pet's vaccination history to hand. If your pet is anxious around unfamiliar environments or other animals, it is worth mentioning this upfront so the groomer can accommodate accordingly. Clarify whether the service operates from their premises at 9 Siang Kuang Avenue or includes a mobile or drop-off arrangement, and ask about setting up a recurring grooming schedule once you are happy with the results.
To get started, reach out to Shaggy Hangout via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form with your pet's details and your preferred appointment dates.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
Fantastic service from Shaggy Hangout. Transport both ways can also be arranged, making it easier for our bulldog to get groomed. Regular updates throughout the grooming session were provided as well. We will definitely return in future 👍
We had an excellent experience at Shaggy Hangout! My dog, who sheds a lot, came out looking and feeling amazing after the grooming session. The staff was professional, friendly, and incredibly patient with my furry friend. They did a thorough job managing the shedding, leaving his coat shiny and soft. I highly recommend Shaggy Hangout for anyone looking for top-notch grooming services, especially if your dog is a heavy shedder. I’ll definitely be returning!
We highly recommend this grooming place for your pets. Our dog was handled professionally and turned out incredibly well-groomed. It's evident that they take great care of your pet.
This is my boy’s favorite place on Earth, actually in the universe. He loves all the staff there and they watched him grow up. The staff knows huskies very well and they do very good grooming too. He would drag us there for daycare. You know your dog loves the place when he drags you there and screams loudly to everyone upon arrival.
Beyond words. It’s never easy to groom a Singapore Special, especially mine being on the extreme skittish end. Being there, and observing how they are being patient and calming the dog down, touched me as a pawrent (who is at wits end after Rocket’s usual groomer ceased operation) Kudos and highly recommended!

Grooming fees in Singapore typically vary based on your pet's size, breed, and coat condition. Smaller breeds generally attract lower base rates, while larger dogs or those with dense, matted, or double coats may incur surcharges. Add-on services such as de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning are usually priced separately. Shaggy Hangout is listed at a mid-range price point, but specific fees are not publicly displayed — contact them directly via WhatsApp or phone for a quote tailored to your pet's profile. Most reputable grooming services in Singapore require dogs to be current on core vaccinations, typically DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is the standard requirement. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly requested for dogs that will be in close proximity to other animals. Vaccinations are generally expected to be within the past 12 months, and you will usually need to present a valid vaccination certificate at drop-off. Confirm the exact requirements with Shaggy Hangout before your first appointment, as policies can vary.
In Singapore, grooming-only businesses are not required to hold an Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) licence, which is mandated specifically for animal boarding establishments. Shaggy Hangout is ACRA registered and KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact information have been confirmed by a real person. No specific regulatory licences are listed for this provider at this time. Before your first visit, it is advisable to ask directly about their insurance coverage and their protocol should a pet become unwell or sustain an injury during a session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
