Horrible call experience. Assuming the one who picked up the general enquiry number is the front desk/receptionist; service attitude was terrible. I called to enquire which course would be most applicable for my organization to apply for SLOTS membership. Service staff herself wasn't sure and answered something along the lines of "you can try this xxx, i'm not too sure either". (not the exact words but basically there were signs of her being uncertain of the answer she was giving) 1. attending course and submitting an application to apply for SLOTS membership isn't free. if the application does not get through (one potential reason i can think of could be due to wrong course attended), the application fee of 100+GST would be forfeited by SCAL themselves. 2. I already told her upfront that she can direct my call to someone else to answer my question if she isn't sure. At first she refused to and gave me her own interpretation but can't confirm. If the expertise level of a frontliner is not high enough to answer all technical questions, by all means channel the caller to another person. She seems to think I'm finding trouble by letting out a loud sigh over the call while abruptly transferring my call without informing at all that she will be doing a call transfer. Bravo.
The officer in charge was very rude and did not reply my msg after she started messaging me via whatsapp. Spell words wrongly and did not bother to reply and block me on whatsapp. No proper way of verify the officer in charge. I want someone to contact me regarding my complain.
