Families considering infant care should enquire about available slots for their intended start month as early as possible, since demand for infant care places in Singapore tends to outpace supply. When contacting Small Wonder Preschool, it is worth asking about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, and the settling-in approach used to help young children transition into centre-based care. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about ECDA subsidy eligibility, as Basic Subsidy and Working Mother's Subsidy can substantially reduce the out-of-pocket monthly cost.
To take the next step, reach out to Small Wonder Preschool via phone or the enquiry form on this listing to check current slot availability, arrange a centre visit, and request the full fee schedule before committing.

Really highly recommend this school to put your kids in as my daughter has learned so much from her teachers and the curriculum. She surprises us with new songs weekly and her English and Mandarin abilities impresses us a lot. Love that they learn through songs and play. The kids are given opportunities to perform from PG all the way to K2 which I feel really builds their confidence. Shout out to all the infant care and playgroup teachers that have journeyed with my daughter since she was 8 months old. My daughter even pretends-calls her teachers during our holidays which shows how much she loves them. Very sad that we are leaving the school but purely due to distance reason - we are moving to the East. We hope her next school will have equally dedicated teachers who care and know her so well 🥲
We have two kids attending Small Wonder Preschool Queenstown and we are extremely grateful for the team of dedicated teachers who put in so much heart work to teach, nurture and care for our kids. Our son is in Playgroup and thriving, thanks to Teacher Joyce, 孙老师 and 陈老师! Since his first day of school, they created a WhatsApp chat group and we received frequent text and photo updates on his well-being! It’s been 10 months since he started PG but his teachers still update us frequently. It’s no wonder he walks into school with a grin daily. Even on public holidays / school closure days, he would say “Yes” to going to school when I quiz him! Our daughter is in N2 and being articulate, she often speaks fondly of her teachers in school, including those who are not her regular teachers! A special shoutout to Teacher Rean and 温老师, thank you for your constant guidance and patience towards the students. As seen from her handicraft and completed assignments in school, we know that a lot of thought and effort have been put into the lesson preparation and delivery. Our kids truly enjoy their time in school. The classroom atmosphere is warm and welcoming, allowing room for creativity and imagination among the students. The environment is safe, well-maintained and clean. Parental involvement is always encouraged and I appreciate the teachers going the extra mile to push for meaningful parental participation, preparing home-based learning kits and the like. Last but not least, I believe that Teacher Fiona, the school’s principal, leads by example and keeps her staff motivated!! This is evident from the low attrition rate among the staff. I would highly recommend this wonderful preschool to every parent!
My daughter (2.5 years old) is currently attending playgroup at Small Wonder Preschool Queenstown and started here since she was 3.5 months old, just like my youngest son. The teachers are so caring and passionate! I’ve seen both my kids go from crying at drop-off to smiling every day. Principal Fiona is also amazing, giving me updates and checking in when my daughter first started. I’m very impressed at how the teachers know all the children by name, which shows how much they genuinely care. I feel assured my children are in good hands. I’m excited to see how they will continue to thrive in this school. Highly recommend Small Wonder to all parents!
Our baby has been at infant care since April, and we are grateful to all her teachers for taking such good care of her. The teachers, especially Teacher Fidah and Teacher Cherry, were very helpful and encouraging when transitioning our baby from latching to bottle feeding and introducing solids, such that she drinks and eats more at infant care compared to at home. The teachers also take parents' feedback seriously and help to address any concerns we have, making us feel confident and safe to leave our baby with them.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Small Wonder. From the moment we enrolled our son we felt confident that he was in a warm, nurturing, and safe environment. The teachers are incredibly caring, attentive, and truly invested in each child's development. Our son has grown so much, socially, emotionally, and academically since starting here. The daily activities are thoughtfully planned, balancing structured learning with plenty of creative play. We especially appreciate the regular updates, photos, and open communication from the class teacher, Teacher Saranya and Laoshi who keep us connected and reassured. The school also fosters kindness, independence, which we see reflected in our son. We’re very grateful to the team at Small Wonder for creating such a positive early learning experience.

Contact the centre directly for its current published rate. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-off registration fee, a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months of fees), and any costs for uniforms or personal accident insurance. Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed centres are eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may also qualify for the Working Mother's Child Development Fund (WM-CDF), which provides additional support on top of the Basic Subsidy. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy (also known as the Means-Tested Additional Subsidy) can bring combined subsidy support up to approximately S$710 per month for infant care when combined with other schemes. Permanent Resident children may receive partial subsidies, though at a lower quantum than citizens. Subsidy amounts are reviewed periodically by ECDA, so it is advisable to check the ECDA website directly for the most current figures and eligibility criteria before enrolment.
Infant care places in Singapore are in particularly high demand, and popular centres often have waiting lists stretching three to twelve months or longer. The busiest intake period is typically January, when many families align their start dates with the calendar year. It is advisable to enquire at least six months before your intended start date, and earlier if possible. To secure a place, most centres require a registration fee and a deposit at the time of confirmation.
