About Snippets Singapore
Snippets Singapore is a photography and videography provider operating islandwide from its Toa Payoh base. KakiList has verified its operating details and contact channels. Its Google rating of 3.4 across 227 reviews is a substantial sample and warrants careful reading of recent feedback before booking — a rating at this level typically reflects a mixed customer experience, and prospective clients should review the most recent reviews rather than relying on the aggregate score alone. Pricing sits in the mid-range bracket for Singapore's photography and videography market.
Enquiries are handled by phone or the online contact form. When reaching out, share your event date, venue, expected coverage duration, and the type of event — whether a wedding, baby full-month celebration, corporate function, or birthday — so Snippets Singapore can confirm package fit and availability. For weddings, clarify whether you need coverage for the ROM solemnisation only, the banquet, or a full-day scope including morning gate-crash and tea ceremony. For baby celebrations such as a full-month or 100-day event, confirm whether the studio offers a session add-on alongside event-day coverage. Discuss the deliverables in detail — number of edited photos, video duration and format, turnaround time, and how the files are delivered — along with the deposit required to hold your date and the balance payment schedule. For venues outside the central region, ask whether a travel charge applies.
To take the next step, contact Snippets Singapore by phone or form with your event date and type, request a written package breakdown covering deliverables, timeline, deposit terms, and any travel or overtime charges, and compare recent client reviews before signing.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm any HDB, condo, or hotel venue paperwork requirements, and put the deliverables, turnaround timeline, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing before payment.
Hairstylist Mei Ling, thank you for doing my hair. Been doing for 8 - 9 years. Service is very good, I like the perm hairstyle she did for me, and colouring and highlights as well. The EP scalp treatment is good, less hair fall. Thank you for your recommendation.
"Thank you so much for the amazing hairdo! I absolutely love it. Meiling was professional, friendly, and really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. I left feeling confident and happy with the results. Highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for top-notch service!"
0 rating for toa payoh outlet. The worse customer service and hairdresser. I came in to trim my hair. Hairdresser doesnt speak english so she asked another hairdresser to translate. I ask to trim and they ended up asking me how to trim only the dead ends and she ask me back rudely “how to trim? If trim all will become very short”. Look, if im the professional here, i wont be going in a salon to get my hair trim. So the first hairdresser end up cutting my hair and leave it halfway and just walk away. So my hair’s bottom half is super short and the upper half is untouch
Met Mei Ling (Hairstylist) for the first time. Good recommendations and not pushy for anything i dont want. Professionally handled my hair style and explained patiently to reach the hairstyle i want eventually.
Lousy service, don't buy their package or haircut voucher. They are very sweet when selling but they make you wait one hour when you want to cut hair with voucher. The many hairdressers just sit and walk around

Snippets Singapore is priced in the mid-range bracket, but exact package rates are best confirmed directly as they vary by event type, coverage duration, and deliverables. For context, Singapore market norms for photography and videography run roughly S$2,500–6,000+ for full-day wedding photography, S$3,000–8,000+ for full-day wedding videography, and S$500–2,500 for kids' parties or baby celebration packages covering a shorter session. Key items to confirm in writing before paying: the deposit amount (typically 30–50% of the package on signing), the balance payment schedule, hours of coverage included, the number of edited photos or video duration and format delivered, the turnaround timeline for final files, and any travel charge for non-central venues. GST should also be clarified upfront. See the full Photography & Videography cost guide for Singapore →
Lead time depends heavily on the event type. For weddings, popular photographers and videographers in Singapore book out 6–12 months ahead, with Saturday evenings in March, April, October, and November filling earliest. If your date falls in those windows, enquire as early as possible. For baby full-month, 100-day, and birthday events, 6–12 weeks is a reasonable lead time for in-demand vendors, though availability can vary. Contact Snippets Singapore directly to check whether your date is still open, and confirm that paying the deposit formally secures it — a verbal confirmation without a deposit does not hold the slot. If any portion of the event is outdoors, ask about wet-weather contingency and whether the package allows schedule flexibility on the day.
Singapore industry standard is a 30–50% deposit on signing to hold the event date, with the balance due approximately 1–2 weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers — typically the date reservation and any pre-event consultation or planning hours — and whether it is refundable or transferable to a future date if you need to cancel or reschedule. Deposits are generally non-refundable in Singapore's photography and videography market, but reputable providers allow date transfers within a reasonable window. Ask specifically about the rescheduling policy if a force-majeure event or venue change forces a shift, and confirm the overtime rate if the event runs longer than the contracted hours. Given Snippets Singapore's 3.4 rating across 227 reviews, it is worth reading recent feedback on cancellation handling and communication before committing. Put all terms — deliverables, turnaround time, deposit, balance date, and cancellation clause — in a written contract before payment.
