It is worth asking whether lessons are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, what the term commitment looks like, and whether a trial class is available before signing up. Ms. Winnie is an excellent piano teacher and I am very grateful to be learning from her. She is patient, calm, and takes the time to understand how her students learn. She explains techniques clearly and breaks things down in a way that makes even difficult pieces feel manageable. Her lessons are well structured but never rushed, and she always makes sure I understand before moving on. What I appreciate most is that she genuinely cares about her students’ progress. She pays attention to details, helps correct mistakes in a supportive way, and encourages steady improvement without pressure. Since learning with her, my piano skills, confidence, and musical understanding have all improved significantly. I would highly recommend Ms. Winnie to anyone looking for a dedicated, thoughtful, and skilled piano teacher.
Came to deposit my parcels here. Friendly team at reception. Also asking for ukelele class for my elder boy
My child enjoys her lessons every week looking forward to it. Teacher Ruby Chong is a wonderful teacher. Location is a plus as well.
Shld have read the 1 star reviews before stepping into this place. The service is what will spoil your day kind. Sway.
My child is learning Piano from Tchr Rubby since 1.5 years and we have had a fantastic experience with her. She is strict yet very loving and keeps my child engaged as per his interest with different piano pieces. She rewards her students frequently with small treats. My child loves her lessons and looks forward to every lesson. He just got a distinction in the Grade 1 exams. Tchr Rubby also excellent in her communications with me. She keeps me posted of all the new compositions my child shows interest in. She also promptly sends reminders and keeps track of the rescheduling and cancelling that happen sometimes.

Sonare Music School has not published a detailed fee schedule on this listing. In the Singapore music school market, rates vary depending on instrument, lesson duration, and format: one-to-one lessons typically range from S$40–S$100 per 30- to 60-minute session, while group classes can be lower on a per-head basis. Some schools charge by the term rather than per session, and a separate registration or materials fee may apply. It is worth asking whether a trial class is available and at what cost, and whether sibling discounts or package rates apply for multiple lessons per week. Confirm all fees in writing before committing to a term. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial lesson — either at a reduced rate or at the standard per-session fee — so that both the student and teacher can assess fit before a term commitment is made. During a trial class, it is useful to observe whether the teaching pace suits the learner's level, whether the instructor can hold the student's attention, and whether the style feels encouraging rather than prescriptive. Sonare Music School has not confirmed its trial class policy in this listing. Contact the school directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask whether a trial is available for your chosen instrument and preferred time slot.
Instructor qualifications at music schools in Singapore vary widely. Relevant credentials to ask about include a degree in music performance or education, a diploma from an accredited conservatoire, or a high-grade pass (Grade 8 and above) from ABRSM or Trinity College London. Some instructors hold teaching certifications or have prior performance experience. If your child is preparing for graded examinations, it is particularly important to confirm that the teacher is familiar with the specific syllabus. Sonare Music School has not provided instructor credential details in this listing. We recommend asking directly about the qualifications and teaching experience of the specific tutor assigned to your child before enrolling.
