My dog has been taken care of here for about two years, and I’ve always been very satisfied with the grooming results. The way they carefully interact with the dogs has been especially impressive, and all the staff are very friendly. However, there was one occasion when I picked up my dog and the receptionist, a man, told me, “He bit himself and that’s how he got this wound,” while showing me an injury in the armpit area of my dog’s front leg. I took a photo of it, and to me it clearly did not look like a bite wound, and it is also a spot that is hard for a dog to reach on its own. I believe it is exactly the kind of area where clippers are most likely to catch and injure the skin. Then the groomer came out and said, “I may have caught him with the clippers,” which was different from what the receptionist had said, and I felt uneasy that they were not being straightforward. Whether it was caused by the clippers or by the dog biting himself, he must have cried out at the moment he was hurt. I don’t understand how they could not have noticed it. I still paid the full grooming fee that day. Because I had always trusted them, this experience left me feeling a bit disappointed. Anyway, the skill is perfect, thank you so much as always.

Sopra is a brilliant little neighbourhood dog groomer in Robertson Quay. The team is always friendly and professional. What I appreciate the most is their expertise in detailed grooming and how they really listen to the owner’s requests. It is evident that they really look after the dogs and are gentle with them which is really important to us. It’s a bit challenging getting a booking on short notice so I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
