I recently brought my male Syrian hamster to Sora Vet for a teeth trimming, and I cannot recommend them enough! A huge thank you to Dr. Neo for her incredible care. Handling such a small, delicate animal requires a lot of patience and expertise, and Dr. Neo was wonderful. She was gentle, professional, and took the time to explain the procedure and give me advice on my hamster’s dental health. It’s clear she has a genuine love for animals, and I felt completely at ease leaving my little guy in her hands. I also want to give a special shout-out to the rest of the team. From the reception to the nursing staff, everyone was welcoming, efficient, and very kind. The environment is calm and clean, which is so important for minimizing stress for small pets. If you are looking for a vet who is skilled with pocket pets and exotics, look no further than Dr. Neo and the team at Sora Vet. My hamster is back to his happy self and eating comfortably again!
5-Star Review for Sora Vet I’m giving Sora Vet a full 5 stars – every bit of love and care for my cockatiels (and all my pets) is in great hands with Sister Annie and Sister Serine Tang! They’ve guided me so well, and I trust them completely. I also share a truly special bond with Doctor Neo. Whether we meet at the clinic or run into each other at events, Doctor Neo always greets me with genuine respect – and I hold them in the same high regard. That’s why I’ve chosen Doctor Neo as the only vet for both my dog and my birds, no one else!
Highly recommended. The team here is incredibly kind, patient, and warm, and it is clear they truly love what they do. Dr Neo cares for every pet as if it were her own, and the entire staff is consistently gentle, attentive, and reassuring. You can feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in their care. They also make the effort to follow up regularly via WhatsApp to check on your pet’s progress, which reflects their genuine dedication. An excellent experience. Huge thank you to the team for being so nice.
Kitty and I were so worried about our little lovebird, Green. He'd been vomiting after eating for a few days, and we knew we needed to take him to the vet. Our friend recommended Sora Vet, saying they had great service and a good reputation, so we decided to give them a try. Since we didn't have an appointment, Kitty messaged them to see if they had any slots available. They replied promptly, letting us know about a $30 walk-in fee and an estimated wait time. They also provided a link to a registration form to fill out beforehand. We appreciated their quick response and transparency. We were lucky that they had a slot available when we arrived. We only had to wait for about an hour before Green was seen. What was really great is that they don't just treat dogs and cats, they see all kinds of pets, including birds. It's not easy to find a reputable bird vet in Singapore, so we were so glad to find Sora Vet. The staff at Sora Vet were so kind and compassionate. They took such good care of Green, and they explained everything to us clearly. We felt like they really understood how worried we were about our little bird. The vet diagnosed Green with a digestive issue and prescribed medication to help him feel better. Thankfully, it wasn't anything serious. We were relieved to see Green doing better after his visit. The bill for his treatment was $274.30, which included a walk-in fee, consultation, medication, and a probiotic supplement. We felt that the charges were slightly on the higher side for the care Green received. However, we highly recommend Sora Vet to anyone looking for a vet clinic in the Chai Chee area. They really go the extra mile to make sure that both the pet and the owner feel comfortable and well-cared for.
One of the best avian vet @ the east side. Dr Neo is very experienced in treating parrots and birds. She is very patient to explained to me “the care” required for my little baby 🐥 lovebirds. My LB are happy seeing her too 😍

For dogs, core vaccinations typically required or recommended by Singapore veterinary clinics include the DHPP combination vaccine (covering distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies. Bordetella (kennel cough) is often required if your dog attends boarding, grooming, or daycare facilities. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is standard, along with rabies. Most clinics expect vaccinations to be current within the past 12 months, and you should bring the original vaccination certificate at the time of your visit. If records are incomplete or your pet is unvaccinated, the clinic will advise on a catch-up schedule before any boarding or group-care services can proceed.
Sora Vet is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the clinic's operating details and contact channel. Veterinary clinics in Singapore that offer boarding services are required to hold a licence from the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board. No specific regulatory licences have been listed for Sora Vet at this time, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed on this listing. If your visit involves boarding or extended care for your pet, it is advisable to ask the clinic directly about its AVS licensing status, insurance coverage for pet injuries or illness during their care, and the protocol followed if a pet requires emergency treatment. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
