About "Speech Haven"
Speech Haven is an enrichment provider listed on KakiList and operating islandwide from its centre at Peninsula Plaza, North Bridge Road. It holds KakiList verified status, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channels. Based on 4 Google reviews it carries a perfect 5-out-of-5 rating, though that sample is too small to draw firm conclusions, and prospective clients should treat it as directional only. Pricing is displayed at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific session or package fees are not published and should be confirmed directly.
Families looking to enquire about Speech Haven's programmes would typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online contact form to confirm whether the available levels and syllabus align with their child's needs. It is worth asking whether sessions are delivered one-to-one or in small groups, how classes are structured, and whether the provider follows a particular curriculum framework. Consulted Wai Lam for my elderly mum with Parkinson's, who started experiencing difficulties swallowing. The in-home consultation was easy to set up (WhatsApp messages), and everything went smoothly. Wai Lam provided a thorough diagnosis, concise explanations, and practical advice... all with a fantastic sense of humour. Our experience with Speech Therapy Works was extremely positive! :)
Wai Lam was recommended to us by our geriatric service provider. We initially engaged him to help my dad with speech issues but thanks to Wai Lam we found out that my dad has swallowing difficulties as well. Wai Lam is very professional, thorough and great with elderly. He helped us to improve my dad’s swallowing issues, and also gave us effective exercises to improve his speech. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a speech therapist!
Mr Yoon is very professional and experienced. With his help my mum managed to progress from being tube fed to eating normally now. His friendliness allowed my mum to open up quickly and be responsive to the therapy sessions. He also taught us some useful exercises so that we can practise on our own. I would really recommend Mr Yoon if you are looking for a good Speech Therapist!
Wai Lam is a very professional, patient, dedicated and effective speech therapist. He goes beyond his work scope to guide me the best way he can. Highly recommend him to others who are in need of a good speech therapist.

Speech Haven displays a mid-range pricing tier ($$), but specific per-session rates, monthly packages, or term fees are not published publicly and must be confirmed directly with the provider. In Singapore's enrichment market, speech and communication-focused classes typically range from S$60 to S$180 per session depending on whether tuition is one-to-one or group-based, the tutor's experience, and session length. When enquiring, ask whether a trial class is available and at what cost, whether materials or workbooks are charged separately, and whether sibling or multi-session package discounts apply. Many enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class at a reduced fee or at the standard session rate, allowing parents and children to assess fit before signing up for a full term. A good trial class should give you a sense of the teaching style, the pacing relative to your child's current level, and how engaged your child remains throughout. When evaluating the session, observe whether the tutor adjusts to the child's responses, whether the content feels appropriately challenging, and whether the environment is conducive to focused learning. Contact Speech Haven directly to ask about their trial class policy, cost, and what to bring along for the first session.
Specific tutor qualifications, academic backgrounds, or years of teaching experience are not listed publicly for Speech Haven. For enrichment providers in Singapore, relevant credentials typically include a degree in education, linguistics, or a related discipline, NIE or MOE teaching experience, and familiarity with the relevant syllabus — whether that is the MOE English language framework, a specialist speech communication curriculum, or another structured programme. Parents are encouraged to ask Speech Haven directly about the lead tutor's educational background, years of experience working with the relevant age group, and how the syllabus is structured across a term. Confirming these details before committing to a package is a straightforward step that most reputable providers will welcome.
