When preparing to visit, it helps to have your pet's vaccination records on hand, as most veterinary practices in Singapore require up-to-date documentation before proceeding with certain treatments or procedures. Be ready to share your pet's size, breed, temperament, and any prior medical history so the team can prepare accordingly. If your pet is anxious around new environments or other animals, it is worth mentioning this when you call or submit an enquiry form, so staff can advise on the best time to visit or any calming measures available. For ongoing care, ask about recurring appointment schedules and whether reminders are sent ahead of vaccination due dates.
To get started, reach Spring Veterinary Care @ Punggol by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing. Confirm current consultation hours, bring your pet's vaccination records, and raise any specific health concerns ahead of the visit so the consultation can be used efficiently.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
Dr Adabel was v patient and caring towards my hamster! She suggested good meds and now my hamster is fine! They always answer my calls if I have any questions and answer them clearly. I would suggest to ask all pet owners to leash their dog or cats if not in a carrier as one of the dogs there kept growling at me and my hamster. It was without a leash so I was afraid it would bite. Overall good experience! Fee is a bit pricy esp with senior vet cost.
Thank you to Diane, Vivian, John, and Dr. Joyce for your commendable service today, especially with my situation. Plus, I had technical difficulties before the tele consultation + issues sorting out the payment post-consult, but your team was patient, gracious, and accommodating. You even went above and beyond to facilitate a smooth and speedy delivery for my kid’s medication. Thank you again; I appreciate your kindness very much.
1st time visiting on 26 Nov Sunday, tried calling other vets around the area but wasn't available for walk in. My adopted Pom had a seizure and was brought in and Dr Nathanael Chai, he was very meticulous in helping to diagnose what was wrong with our Pom. We didn't know of any existing conditions as she was adopted just 1 day ago. After some blood samples, he suspected that she had pyrometra and it was an urgent case and had to be operated ASAP. He provided us with the 24hrs animal hospital and we chose to go to Companion Animal Surgery, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise as they are able to help and source out a blood donor for her. Kudos to Dr Nathanael and his team for reacting swiftly to her condition. My Pom is now better after surgery. Thank you.
I do not recommend Spring Vet for those who have beloved guinea pig. Because the Vets there are less experience for pocket animal. Especially Dr. Rachel. We have tried to trust her despite of our deep feeling and instinct that she has lack of empathy and sympathy for animals, lack experience (after analysing her expertise with both our guinea pig), talks lightly and doesn’t care and considerate with owner concern. I can’t explain the chronology detail because of expertise privacy. After all, she gave medication, around 45 minutes after I gave Ginger medication, my guinea pig’s eyes comes out white liquid and she is collapsed. After that she was really weak and cant eat and even stand up. 36 hours after that she passed away. I hope she can be humble to reflection herself as a “senior” Vet. And hope the management also can take action.
Vet wasnt able to help our dog. We told her about our puppy pooping out some blood and all she did was to let us decide if we wanna giv probiotics or we could do an xray and blood test which would cost $700+… In the end we decided that not only were the services very overpriced, she wasnt able to give us any helpful advice so we left with just probiotics from them. In the end we went to another vet elsewhere (much better services and advice) and for the same amount of money, the other vet was able to diagnose my puppy by taking a stool sample (she had gardia). I dont understand why the vet here immediately concluded she needed an xray and blood test to get to the root cause when another vet elsewhere was able to diagnose her with a stool test? Is this place just trying to overcharge us with unnecessary procedures? The cost of diagnosis and medication in the other vet which included the stool sample, 3 cans of dog food for better digestion, deworming med and antibiotics was $118 which was almost the same amount it cost me to bring my puppy here to just receive a probiotic ($90+) and waste my money and time when with no solution. I could have just gone directly to the other vet that could solve my puppy’s issue. Very disappointed. Also i saw someone else review that the stool test here cost $400+… but elsewhere was just $20+…

Spring Veterinary Care @ Punggol is priced in the mid-range tier ($$), but specific consultation fees are not listed publicly. Veterinary consultation fees in Singapore typically range from S$30–S$80 for a standard visit, with additional charges for diagnostics such as blood panels, X-rays, or urinalysis. Procedures, vaccinations, and medications are priced separately and can vary considerably depending on the condition being treated and the size of your pet. When you contact the clinic, ask for a breakdown of the consultation fee, any diagnostic or procedure costs, and whether GST applies. For ongoing treatments, confirm whether package pricing is available. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs, core vaccinations typically include DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies, with bordetella (kennel cough) often recommended if your pet attends boarding or daycare facilities. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is standard, along with rabies where applicable. Most clinics in Singapore expect vaccinations to be current within the past 12 months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or digital records to every visit. If records are incomplete or your pet is overdue, the clinic can advise on catch-up schedules. Confirming vaccination requirements before your first appointment helps avoid delays on the day.
Veterinary practices in Singapore are regulated by the National Parks Board (NParks) under the Animals and Birds Act, and all practising veterinarians must be registered with the Singapore Veterinary Council (SVC). No specific regulatory licences are listed for this provider in the current data, so it is advisable to confirm the clinic's registration status directly when you call. In terms of insurance, most established veterinary practices carry professional indemnity coverage, but the scope of that coverage — particularly for adverse events during procedures — varies by clinic. Ask directly what protocols are in place should a complication arise during treatment or anaesthesia. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
