*We don't pay you to be order taker! 😤 PS: 24 hours monitoring. Don't have emergency vet! Our dog - Xiao Bai followed Dr Chang from United Veterinary many years ago to Stars due to skin problems. And stopped after XB skin problems is cleared few years ago. On 1st March 24, I called in then found out that Dr Chang has left 3 years back and started Sunshine Vet. We visited Sunshine Vet for XB vomitted 3 times instead, realized Dr Chang was on leave. Ran through a full blood test then found out XB had pancreatitis and kidney disease stage 4. We were then referred back to Stars for more detailed check and 24 hours monitoring. We were given quote by Dr Charlotte for 3 Days 2 Nites. XB was then put on drip to hydrate his kidney. There wasn't any detailed scan given or explanation on next course of action. On the night itself since 9pm plus, the staff started to WhatsApp me updates of XB with images and videos, which only make us more worried instead of giving a peace of mind. XB was seen restless, shivering and the staff were helpless, forcing the feed into his mouth syringe. It only pains us. XB was restless and not sleeping for the entire night even when the cone was removed. Decision was made the next day to discharge XB since we were told that he needs to be send to emergency hospital if XB did not pee due to kidney disease stage 4. And to us, it seems easier to isolate the issue if XB is not peeing due to an unfamiliar environment. And is due to old age there is beyond our control. Upon discharged, he needs to be put on 100 ml drip for 10 days to see if any improvement. And needs to be send to the emergency hospital if he don't pee. Upon collection of medication and we bought 10 cans of hills low fat diet food, the staff - Joggi has a hard time explaining to us on the serving of the food over the counter with another staff talking to another patient. The explanation of the can food caught us a shock over a big can food then she realized that serving was meant for the small can! The communication from the vet - Dr Charlotte, the staff was not clear and structured. The way they do things like order takers, speeding things up. And the communication barrier is terrible. Unlike Dr Chang and Dr Lee Sze Yang, they can't even explain in proper mandarin for my dad who is the care giver. I noticed that XB tongue got some stained when I visited him on 2nd Mar... Then now I realized that he had ulcers which could be the reason why he refused to drink and feed. XB is gone this morning on 3rd Mar comfortably at home. We are glad we make the decision to bring him back home. For me, I am definitely not pleased with how this whole thing is managed. Some time is not about the money but a clear, proper explanation, upholding a professionalism is required. And not to take our fur kids for fun, or soft toys for your order taking. I would not recommend any one to visit this vet anymore!

I was previously looked after by dr Jean but she left and handed me over to the remaining drs. I’ve been seeing dr Anu and Dr Jordan regularly! They are amazing and they always make me feel like I’m well looked after especially since my furbie has CKD and I’m not ready to give up on her. My yorkie is admitted here at least once every 3 weeks and she is always well looked after I get updates often and they just show me love comfort and care that they are also not giving up on my furbie. I highly recommend this vet, even triage nurse and front desk are all helpful and friendly and just make me feel like I am in safe hands all the time.

Dr Jean was the go-to vet for our beloved dog Saw Saw since young. Dr Jean is a passionate vet who always gives her best in providing sound veterinary care and advice. She is able to remember Saw Saw’s medical history by heart and had never given a misdiagnosis throughout his lifetime. We are also very grateful for Dr Jean squeezing in time, sometimes sacrificing some of her break time, and even working overtime when Saw Saw was rushed in for emergencies. Saw Saw has recently passed away at a ripe old age of 16.5 years and spent most of his time on earth with us happy, healthy, and with a great quality of life. A huge shoutout to Dr Jean and the clinic team for consistently providing tip-top veterinary care and advice, and always giving us peace of mind whenever Saw Saw had any medical issues! They have contributed to the many happy years that we have with our dog.
