We hired Studio Five for our wedding photography and videography package and unfortunately our experience fell far short of expectations. Key Issues We Encountered: · Album Design Failures: The photo album layout was poorly arranged, with photos inconsistently scaled (too large or too small) and excessive white space that did not utilize the album's design potential. This required multiple rounds of revision and prolonged the process further. · Undelivered content: The family well wishes video, a specified part of our package was not captured during our wedding. We were never informed of this during the wedding or after. Instead, we received a poorly edited 1-minute clip without any apology or explanation. · Editing inconsistencies: The initial versions of several videos required multiple rounds of revisions due to technical and quality issues, such as audio-video synchronization and inconsistent color grading. · Poor Internal Quality Control: Basic technical issues—such as audio-video desync, inconsistent lighting, and abrupt filter changes within clips—were present in initial edits and should have been caught internally before delivery. · Extended timelines: The overall production and editing process took approximately four months with minimal proactive communication regarding delays or updates. · Misleading timeline of deliverables: While the studio informed that deliverables were provided within two months, the initial quality was so poor, rushed, and clumsy that it required extensive revisions. Basic errors such as audio-video desync, inconsistent lighting and filter mishaps should have been caught by their internal quality control. Yet we had to identify each flaw in detail. · Inefficient Revision Process: Despite providing clear and detailed feedback, their editor repeatedly introduced new mistakes or overlooked corrections, dragging the revision process longer than it should have taken. · Inadequate Service Recovery: After raising these issues, the proposed resolution was insufficient and did not reflect the value of the missing content or the significant inconvenience caused. The compensation offered felt dismissive relative to the failures experienced & did not adequately reflect the value of the omitted segment or the inconvenience caused by the prolonged resolution process The failure to deliver a promised segment, coupled with the lengthy and frustrating resolution experience, significantly marred our overall satisfaction.
