About Sweatbox Yoga Singapore

Sweatbox Yoga Singapore is a holistic wellness provider located at Far East Shopping Centre on Orchard Road. The studio is KakiList-verified, with operating details and contact channels confirmed. It holds a 4.5-star rating across 45 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that suggests consistent feedback, though prospective clients are encouraged to weigh this alongside a personal visit.

New clients typically begin with a first consultation or introductory session to discuss their wellness goals, physical condition, and any contraindications. Sweatbox Yoga offers holistic-focused classes, and it is worth confirming the specific styles available — such as hot yoga, yin, or restorative — as well as whether sessions are open group, small group, or one-to-one. Before committing, clarify the term structure (drop-in, monthly membership, or fixed-session package), the cancellation and no-show policy, and whether a trial or introductory-rate session is available for first-time visitors.

To take the next step, reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class schedules, available session types, and any introductory offers before booking your first visit.

A cozy chill studio at level 3 of Far East plaza. Came to attend a healthy 365 yoga session with sound bath incorporated. As with any popular 365 classes, full class easily 25-30 with mats close to each other. Nonetheless was a relaxing no frills session. Love the clean studio & that there’s greenery when you look out.

Lousy studio in a sketchy location, far east shopping centre, hard to find. No privacy. No one at counter to assist. Everyone can view you doing yoga. There is better studios at other places. Save your money, Strongly do not recommend!!!

Finally found a place with yoga class that do not rush to show their yoga postures. The instructor is focus to bring us thru a journey to feel our body better which bring more awareness in sensing our body signals. The class is well managed by experience instructor although there is mixing class members who maybe 1st time practice in yoga. Location is convinient , just walking distance from orchard mrt. Easy classs check in process.

A great studio with great staff! I recently attended the Yoga Teacher Training Class lead by Lynette and Rachel. The course content and teaching style were fantastic. Both Rachel and Lynette have a vast amount of knowledge and teaching experience which they are able to share in a caring and compassionate way. Highly recommended studio with a great selection of styles for all ages and abilities!

Amazing hot yoga studio, great air quality as they open windows before/after class - it's a must for hot yoga. Plus instructor was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and great instructing points, I have been practicing yoga for many years and just by listening to his instructions I understood so many mistakes I make in my movements. Great !!! I will be back

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Sweatbox Yoga Singapore charge per session?

Sweatbox Yoga Singapore displays a '$$' price indicator, but specific per-session rates are not publicly listed. As a general guide, yoga and holistic wellness studios in Singapore typically charge S$25–50 per drop-in class, with monthly unlimited memberships ranging from S$150–350 and fixed-session packages (e.g. 10 classes) often working out to S$30–45 per session. Confirm whether a first-consultation or intake assessment fee applies separately from class fees, and ask about any package discounts for upfront term commitments. Cancellation and no-show policies vary by studio — check these before purchasing a package. See the full holistic wellness cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

Most yoga and holistic wellness studios do not require a GP referral for general classes. However, a brief intake form is standard practice — this typically covers existing injuries, medical conditions (such as hypertension, pregnancy, or spinal issues), and fitness level so the instructor can adapt where needed. If you have a complex or acute medical condition, a GP referral can be useful when claiming under an integrated shield plan or corporate wellness benefit, and some insurers require documented medical necessity. For hot yoga specifically, clients with cardiovascular conditions or heat sensitivity should seek medical clearance before their first session. Contact Sweatbox Yoga Singapore directly to confirm the intake process and whether there are any contraindications relevant to the class formats they offer.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Yoga instructors and holistic wellness practitioners in Singapore are not subject to statutory licensing in the same way as physiotherapists (AHPC), TCM practitioners (TCMPB), or medical doctors (SMC). Credentialing is therefore voluntary — relevant qualifications to ask about include Yoga Alliance registration (RYT-200 or RYT-500), specialist certifications in hot yoga or specific holistic modalities, and years of teaching experience. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Sweatbox Yoga Singapore on KakiList. It is advisable to ask the studio directly for the lead instructor's training background and any relevant certifications before committing to a package. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
