Waggie is a fantastic dog training school, and Patrick brings years of experience in dog training. His methods are tried and tested, and most importantly, very easy to understand and follow. The lessons are engaging and enjoyable, and while there is homework involved, it’s practical, helpful, and manageable. Patrick explains things clearly and consistently, which makes the training process feel structured and achievable. If you’re considering dog training but skeptical, I would highly recommend going ahead with Waggie. We’ve trained two dogs with Patrick in the past with great success, and we’ve been very happy with the results. If we ever get another dog, we would definitely return to Patrick again.

We had a fantastic experience at Waggie Dog Training School. The trainers are not only very experienced but also incredibly friendly and approachable, which made the process enjoyable for both me and my dog. A special thank you to our trainer, Patrick! After attending just a few of his sessions, my dog able to perform "auto-sit" behavior. It's amazing to see the results so quickly. I highly recommend Waggie, and especially Patrick, for any dog owner looking for effective and kind training.

Our first dog was already trained by Patrick and we saw all the benefits of it, so it was a no brainer for us to send our second puppy to Patrick’s obedience school. His methods are backed by years of experience and we trust it entirely. It brings us great joy and relief to have happy, well trained dogs who we trust to listen to us whenever needed.

I sent both of my Mame Shiba siblings for training and the experience has been nothing but amazing. Our trainer, Patrick is patient, knowledgeable and truly understands how to work with dogs of different personalities. Daiki and Rikka made great progress in their obedience and confidence. Every session was clear, encouraging and tailored to their needs. I could see the care and dedication put into helping them learn and adjust. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend this trainer to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and effective.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Tail Tips Dog Training charge?

Tail Tips Dog Training is priced at the mid-range ($$) tier, though specific per-session or package fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form. When enquiring, it is worth asking about any size or breed surcharges, whether group sessions are priced differently from one-to-one training, and what add-ons such as behavioural assessments or follow-up consultations may cost. Transport fees for any mobile components are also worth clarifying upfront. See the full Pet Training cost guide for Singapore →

What vaccinations does Tail Tips Dog Training require?

Most reputable dog training providers in Singapore require dogs to be current on core vaccinations before attending sessions. For dogs, this typically means DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies, with proof of vaccination issued within the past 12 months. If sessions involve group classes, bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly required. Bring your pet's vaccination record or the vet-issued certificate to your first session. If your dog's vaccinations are due for renewal, schedule a vet visit before enquiring about start dates, as providers will generally not accept unvaccinated animals. Confirm Tail Tips Dog Training's specific requirements when you contact them.

Is Tail Tips Dog Training licensed and insured?

Tail Tips Dog Training is ACRA-registered, confirming it operates as a legitimate business entity in Singapore, and has been verified by a KakiList team member who confirmed operating details and contact channels. The listing does not currently show an AVS (Animal and Veterinary Service) boarding or grooming licence, which is relevant if the provider offers any overnight or facility-based services beyond training. Before your first visit, it is reasonable to ask the provider directly about their insurance coverage — specifically what recourse exists in the unlikely event a dog is injured or falls unwell during a session. Visit the facility if group classes are held on-site, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
