When getting in touch, it helps to have your pet's size, breed, and coat type ready, as these details typically affect the grooming package offered. Vaccination records are generally required before a first appointment, so prepare those in advance. If your pet has a nervous temperament or has not been groomed before, mention this when making an enquiry so the groomer can advise on whether a trial visit or a shorter introductory session is appropriate. You can reach Takara Pets via WhatsApp or phone to discuss drop-off timing and whether a recurring grooming schedule suits your pet's coat maintenance needs.
To get started, send a WhatsApp message to Takara Pets with your pet's breed, approximate weight, and a note on temperament, and ask about current appointment availability and the grooming packages available for your pet type.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
Almost no cat food or dog food, wasted trip. And it is SO unethical to sell vegan pet food.... these animals are meant to have meat in their diet. Shop is very small and remote too. Not to mention one cat and one dog were in the small shop with nothing to do.
Owner is very professional in handling my bird, and is efficient in her services too. Pricing is very affordable, highly recommend!
safe to say one of the best pet grooming places for my doggo! took care of her and she came back so clean and fresh!🛁🩷 staff also gave us tips on how to take care of her depending on her needs🙏🏼
Grooming service is good, my puppy looks clean and cuter after grooming.
first time bringing my dog 🐶 for his grooming & it was fuss free to book an appointment via whatsapp! :) do book in advance as their appt slots do get snapped up quite fast! :) they were very friendly & we had a short convo on how my dog is & i can tell they genuinely care for what they do. i was naturally just a bit more kanchiong cus first time going for any grooming & had a lot of questions and they were v patient with me & even shared what might help him with his anxiety etc :) provided me updates on how he is — considering how much he hates showering at home, he is sooo comfy here! they let me know in advance before they are done & also were v patient w me even though i was a bit late for pick up! not pushy at all & most importantly rocky is very comfortable with them from the get go & i’d recommend this place! :) prices are also v reasonable! saw so many cute doggos & cat 🐈 my heart ♥️ oh they have pet stuff & accessories for sale too!

Grooming prices in Singapore vary primarily by the pet's size, breed, and coat condition. Smaller dogs and short-haired breeds typically attract a lower base rate, while large or double-coated breeds command a higher fee. Standard packages usually cover a bath, blow-dry, trim, nail clipping, and ear cleaning, with add-ons such as de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, and paw balm available at additional cost. Contact Takara Pets directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm the exact rate for your pet's breed and the specific services you require. See the full pet grooming cost guide for Singapore →
Most grooming providers in Singapore require dogs to be current on their DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) vaccination, and rabies vaccination where applicable. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia) is the standard requirement. Vaccination records are typically expected to be within the last 12 months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a copy of the vet's certificate when attending your first appointment. If you are unsure whether your pet's records are current, check with your vet before booking. Contact Takara Pets directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before the visit.
Takara Pets is registered with ACRA, Singapore's official business registry, and has been independently verified by KakiList. For grooming services in Singapore, the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board oversees the regulation of pet boarding and certain animal-related businesses. If you wish to confirm Takara Pets' specific licensing status, you may enquire directly with the provider or check the AVS public register. Regarding insurance, it is advisable to ask Takara Pets directly what protocol applies should your pet experience an adverse reaction or injury during a grooming session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
