When preparing for a visit, it is helpful to have your pet's vaccination records to hand, as most veterinary clinics require up-to-date documentation before treatment or boarding. Be ready to describe your pet's size, breed, temperament, and any existing health conditions or medications, as this allows the veterinary team to assess the appropriate course of care. If your pet is anxious or reactive, mention this when booking so the team can prepare accordingly. The clinic can be reached by phone or via their online enquiry form — both channels are available for scheduling appointments or asking about specific services.
To take the next step, contact The Animal Clinic (Katong) directly by phone or through their enquiry form to book an appointment, confirm consultation fees, and ask about any preparation required for your pet's visit.

My poor 14yo cat had an ingrown toe nail that curled into her flesh. Brought her to The Animal Clinic Katong at Lor L Telok Kurau. Cat was super nervous and was hissing when we got her into the carrier. But in the hands of the vet and vet technicians, it was pure magic! Procedure done, super quick! No hissing, no scratching. All was calm. Super hands!!
Dr. Anna was incredibly kind, patient, and professional with our bad-tempered cat Ginger. She handled him with such care despite his attitude, which made the visit so much less stressful for both of us. The whole team was friendly and professional! The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in. When Ginger needed a referral for more complicated surgery, Dr. Anna made the process seamless. Highly recommend this practice.
Absolutely love this clinic! The receptionists, nurses, and vets are all incredibly caring, professional, and kind. They always go above and beyond to accommodate appointments, even at short notice. We feel so lucky to have such a supportive and compassionate team looking after our little Lola 🥰
I have been seeing Dr Anna for a while. Kristoff my ragdoll cat had his dental with her recently. Dr Anna was nothing short of amazing! Her professionalism, amazing communication and care for him made him and me so at ease. You can tell she genuinely cares! She removed a bad tooth and did his anal glands. He’s been much more active and has been eating well since. Thank you so much Dr Anna and the team! And thanks to Nora for monitoring him!
I’m super grateful for Dr Jeremy and his team for taking such good care of Bailey’s senior dental procedure. I was anxious and worried about the GA given that my dog was 13 years old, and I saw 3 vets in total before deciding to go ahead. Dr Jeremy was the only one who made me feel confident enough by thoroughly explaining the procedure. I felt like he really listened to my concerns, and was very caring, reassuring, and patient throughout the whole consultation. I was there for dental but asked questions about the whole body from nails to legs and organs as well and Dr Jeremy was happy to address them all. He was also very gentle and loving with Bailey, and treated him like family and not just a job. As a bonus, everyone in the clinic and the receptionist on the phone was very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful! I was initially worried about the cost too but was quoted a very reasonable price, with services that totally went the extra mile. Waiting time was kept short, and I was always attended to promptly at every stage. This is truly a clinic with heart that I will always choose and highly recommend to everyone!

Veterinary consultation fees in Singapore typically range from S$30 to S$80 for a standard visit, with specialist consultations, diagnostic tests, vaccinations, surgery, or hospitalisation incurring additional charges. The Animal Clinic (Katong) is priced at the mid-range tier ($$), but specific fees are not publicly listed and will vary depending on the nature of the visit and your pet's condition. Common add-on costs to factor in include blood panels, X-rays, prescribed medications, dental scaling, and follow-up appointments. It is advisable to ask for a written estimate before proceeding with non-emergency procedures. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is the standard core vaccine. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly required for boarding and group care settings. Most clinics and boarding facilities in Singapore expect vaccinations to have been administered within the past 12 months. You will generally need to present your pet's vaccination booklet or certificate at the point of drop-off or during the consultation. If your pet's vaccinations are not current, The Animal Clinic (Katong) may be able to administer them — contact the clinic to confirm their specific vaccination requirements and scheduling.
Veterinary clinics in Singapore are regulated by the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS), a cluster of the National Parks Board. Licensed veterinarians must be registered with AVS and practise within an approved facility. The Animal Clinic (Katong) does not have specific licences listed on its KakiList profile, so it is advisable to confirm AVS registration directly with the clinic before your pet's first visit. Regarding insurance, veterinary clinics are not uniformly required to carry client-side pet insurance, though reputable practices will have protocols in place should a pet experience an adverse event during treatment. Ask the clinic about their procedures for handling complications or emergencies. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
