When engaging a veterinary clinic for your pet, it is worth preparing a few essentials before your first visit. Bring your pet's vaccination records, any prior medical history or test results, and be ready to describe current symptoms, dietary habits, and behavioural changes in as much detail as possible. The clinic accepts enquiries by phone or through an online form, so you can reach out ahead of the appointment to confirm consultation availability, ask about the scope of services offered (such as diagnostics, surgery, or dental care), and clarify whether a particular breed or temperament requires any special handling arrangements.
To get started, call the clinic directly or submit an enquiry via the contact form on their listing to confirm appointment availability and any documentation you should bring for your pet's first visit.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
I’ve been bringing my two bunnies to TAD for the past seven years, and the team has consistently taken exceptional care of them. Even during our bunny’s final journey, Dr. Tsai and Dr. Khor were incredibly compassionate, not just towards our bunny, but towards us as well. For that, we are deeply grateful. After our bunny passed, we received personalised cards from both doctors, and Dr. Tsai even crafted a photo holder with our bunny’s name on it. This thoughtful gesture, done despite their busy schedules, truly touched our hearts. Thank you, TAD team, for playing such an important and meaningful role in our bunnies’ lives. Your kindness and dedication mean more to us than words can express.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Dr Khor is truly an amazing and caring vet! She recently operated on my dog, and throughout the whole process she showed so much professionalism, patience, and genuine love for animals. She explained everything clearly, ensured we understood the treatment plan, and constantly checked on my dog’s progress. Her gentle handling and reassuring words made a huge difference. My dog is recovering so well thanks to her skill and dedication. The entire experience was smooth, and I’m extremely grateful for her care. Highly recommended — thank you, Dr Khor, for taking such wonderful care of my fur baby! 🐶❤️
I Visited this place for my pet. The vet was caring, patient, and professional, and showed genuine concern while treating my pet. Unfortunately, the counter staff was not welcoming or helpful and came across as hostile, which made the experience uncomfortable. She was aloof and unapproachable. Her tone lacked warmth. Even though we had an appointment, we still had to wait without any updates. Staffs were laughing and chatting showing little sensitivity to how pet owners might be feeling. Our pet was later taken in with no update for over an hour till we ask. As pet owners, this was very stressful as we were already worried about our sick pet. There was also only a very brief explanation on how to give the medication, and when we asked for clarification, we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing. For those planning to visit, please be aware of the staff experience and do speak up if you have to. To the owners of this place, I kindly urge you to review your staff behaviour and provide proper guidance. Their work ethics affects the overall experience and is damaging your clinic’s image. I would still return for the vet though. And finally, thank you to the vet, my pet is better now.
Highly recommend Dr Carmen. She is thoughtful and detailed. Thoughtful of concerns that any pawrent would have and detailed in her work. Baby was very sick back then in Jun 2023. She was having frequent bloody diarrhoea and throwing up. I desperately needed a 2nd opinion cos the primary vet of Baby was not taking these symptoms serious enough. We went to Dr Carmen and she immediately worked out a treatment plan for Baby. Baby was down with pancreatitis and her liver readings were abnormally high with issues in her gall bladder too. Step by step, Dr Carmen and the team at The Animal Doctors AMK worked towards the recovery of Baby. During those days of Baby's hospitalisation, I had a chance to witness how the different vets at TAD work with the team of nurses in taking care of the animals (dogs, cats, rabbits etc) that were entrusted in their care. I will be forever thankful for their care towards Baby. Cos of that, I was able to spend many more months with Baby! The team was also patient to answer queries and address any concern that I posted in the chat. Today, Baby needs to undergo a procedure to remove a lump on her body before it becomes nasty. Baby is almost 16 and Dr Carmen ensures that care is taken at every step during the procedure. She explained her plan to me before the procedure and called me after the procedure to update as well. I know I can trust Baby with Dr Carmen and TAD.
As someone that has visited multiple vets in urgent situations for exotic animals such as guinea pigs, I have only good reviews for The Animal Doctors team at Ang Mo Kio!! I took my pet guinea pig - Marshi in as an emergency when no other vet was being helpful & I was met with the most understanding, kind and educated team of doctors. They updated us regularly and considered every concern of ours and I would pick no other place for my pets to be cared for. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our guinea but the team was so considerate during this time. Many of my other experiences at other vets have been so disappointing - I have been given wrong advice, tried to be influenced into more expensive care & even met rude and insensitive practitioners but not here. Dear Animal Doctors Team - Thank you for being so considerate & equipped in our hardest time!

The Animal Doctors (Ang Mo Kio) is priced at the mid-range tier ($$) for veterinary services, though specific consultation fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the clinic. In Singapore, a standard veterinary consultation typically ranges from S$30 to S$80, with additional costs for diagnostics (blood panels, X-rays), medications, vaccinations, or procedures such as dental scaling or minor surgery. Additional charges may apply depending on your pet's size, breed, or the complexity of the visit. It is advisable to ask for an itemised estimate before agreeing to any treatment, particularly for non-routine procedures. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia) is the standard core vaccination. Bordetella (kennel cough) is frequently required for dogs that attend boarding or daycare facilities, though this is less relevant for a standard veterinary consultation. If you are visiting for a vaccination appointment itself, the clinic can advise on the appropriate schedule based on your pet's age, species, and prior vaccination history. It is good practice to bring any existing vaccination records so the veterinarian can confirm what is due or overdue. Contact the clinic in advance if you are unsure which vaccinations your pet currently holds, as this helps the team prepare for the visit.
The Animal Doctors (Ang Mo Kio) has been verified by KakiList, confirming that operating details and contact channels are active. Veterinary clinics in Singapore that offer boarding services are required to hold a licence from the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board; however, no specific licences are listed for this provider in the current directory data, so it is advisable to confirm directly with the clinic which AVS-regulated activities they are authorised to carry out. For veterinary medical practice specifically, practising veterinarians in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Veterinary Council (SVC). You can request the name of the attending veterinarian and verify their registration on the SVC public register. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance coverage before drop-off for any boarding or extended care arrangements.
