About The Early Intervention Centre

About "The Early Intervention Centre"

The Early Intervention Centre is a preschool and kindergarten provider operating islandwide from its centre at 18 Ah Hood Road, Hiap Hoe Building, Singapore. It holds a KakiList verified status, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. The centre carries a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 across 49 reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable, if not definitive, signal of parent satisfaction. Fees are positioned in the mid-range ($$) for the childcare market.

Families considering a place should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as infant care and preschool vacancies in Singapore can fill many months in advance. When you contact the centre by phone or via the enquiry form, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, and the settling-in period so that your child can transition comfortably. It is also worth confirming whether the programme is ECDA-licensed, as this determines eligibility for government childcare subsidies available to Singapore citizen children. Registration fees, a deposit, and any uniform or insurance costs are typically payable upon securing a place.

To take the next step, reach out to The Early Intervention Centre directly by phone or through the contact form on the listing to ask about current vacancies for your child's intended start month and to arrange an in-person visit to the centre. My little boy got delay in speech and behaviors before he joined EIC fulltime program. He has tremendous improvement in such a short time (5 months) with teachers Marie, Grace. Everyday he told me please go EIC, go Marie, go Grace. He is different boy with speedy learning curve. I admire the teachers with lots of patience and passion towards the kids. The approach and methodology they applied to enforce the good behavior via praise the good ones also helps my child happier and confident. I myself learn from them for my parenting. Highly recommend for any parents want a stress free environment for your kids to learn and improve their learning progress. my kid now can read, express himself and well behaved and develop his love for learning which I expect the most when I sent him to school.

The Early Intervention Centre at Zhongshan Mall has been an incredible support system for my child. Under the guidance of Ms. Marie and her wonderful team of teachers, we have seen noticeable progress in our child’s confidence, communication, and literacy skills. Their dedication, patience, and consistent effort in applying the right intervention methods have made a meaningful difference. Every session is thoughtfully structured, combining skill development with genuine care and understanding tailored to each child’s needs. We truly appreciate the team’s commitment to helping our child reach milestones we once thought would take much longer. Thank you, Ms. Marie and the entire teaching team, for your passion, professionalism, and unwavering encouragement.

An Incredible Learning Journey at EiC From the very first moment we glimpsed into EiC, we had a strong feeling it was the right place for our son. My husband’s first impression, just from peeking inside, was, “I’m sure you’re going to like this place—it looks clean, bright, structured, and organized.” And he was absolutely right. Our confidence was further reinforced during our initial assessment meeting with the team. The principal’s keen insight and expertise were truly impressive—within a short session, she was able to pinpoint our son’s key learning gaps, strengths, and areas to focus on. That immediate understanding gave us full trust in the school’s ability to support his growth, making the decision to enroll him an easy one. Looking back, our only regret is not discovering this wonderful centre earlier. Within just two months of joining, we saw such meaningful progress that we decided to extend to the full-day program. Over the past two years, EiC has been more than just a school—it has been a crucial partner in our son’s development. The teachers and staffs have been incredibly dedicated, guiding him through challenges and celebrating his milestones with us. Their warmth, patience, and structured approach have made a lasting impact. As our son moves on to primary school, leaving this nurturing environment is truly bittersweet. The special farewell graduation ceremony, complete with heartfelt performances, children handcrafted card, gifts and his own graduation speech, was a beautiful testament to the school’s deep care for its students. We are so grateful for everything the centre has done, and we take comfort in knowing that he can continue his learning journey with EiC through weekend classes. Thank you, EiC, for being such an extraordinary place. You have made an incredible difference in our son’s life, and we will always cherish the memories made here.

The Early Intervention Centre is priced in the mid-range ($$) for Singapore's childcare and kindergarten market. Published monthly fees vary by programme type and age group — contact the centre directly to confirm the current fee schedule for your child's age. Beyond the monthly fee, most centres in Singapore charge a one-off registration fee and a refundable deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees) when a place is secured. What subsidies can I claim at "The Early Intervention Centre"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed childcare centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care or S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may also qualify for the Additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS). For lower-income families, the Additional Subsidy (income-tested) can bring the combined subsidy up to S$710 per month. Kindergarten programmes accredited under the Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme (KiFAS) offer fee assistance for eligible families. Singapore Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies only. As subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are updated by ECDA periodically, check directly with ECDA at www.ecda.gov.sg for current figures and to confirm that The Early Intervention Centre is an eligible centre under the relevant scheme.

Is there a waitlist at "The Early Intervention Centre"?

Demand for quality preschool and kindergarten places in Singapore means that popular centres can fill up three to twelve months in advance, with infant care places particularly competitive. January is the primary intake month for most programmes, so families targeting that cohort should enquire well before mid-year of the preceding year. To secure a place at The Early Intervention Centre, enquire as early as possible and ask about the registration process, any waitlist procedures, and the deposit required to confirm a slot. Contact the centre by phone or via the enquiry form to check current availability for your child's intended start date, as real-time vacancy information is not published on the listing.
