About "The Gardner Preschool"
The Gardner Preschool is a preschool and kindergarten based at Bright Centre on Telok Kurau Road, verified by KakiList and registered with ACRA. It holds a perfect 5-out-of-5 rating on Google, though this is based on 15 reviews, so it should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Fees are indicated at the mid-range price tier for Singapore childcare.
Families considering The Gardner Preschool should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as places — particularly for younger age groups — can fill several months in advance. A centre visit is the recommended next step: use this opportunity to observe the daily routine, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, and understand the settling-in period for new enrolments. It is also worth discussing eligibility for ECDA subsidies if your child is a Singapore citizen, as these can meaningfully reduce out-of-pocket fees. Confirm registration fees, deposit requirements, and any uniform or insurance costs at the same time.
To take the first step, reach out to The Gardner Preschool directly by phone or via their enquiry form to check current availability and arrange a visit to the centre at 55 Telok Kurau Road, Bright Centre.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

In short, this is the best preschool, and I really mean it. Led by an enthusiastic and energetic founder/centre manager, teachers and staffs are caring, attentive, nurturing, dedicated, and creative, which can be seen via day-to-day teaching, events, and year-end concert/graduation. Low teachers turnover make it a condusive learning environment for kids. My boy had great fun for his preschool time in The Gardner, attending to preschool happily everyday. A big thank you to the Gardner, keep it up.
The Gardner Preschool K2 Graduation & Concert on Saturday, December 6, 2025, Singpost HQ was truly magnificent and executed flawlessly. We were particularly impressed with the thoughtfulness and meticulous detail evident in the entire production. The concert contents, combined with the decorations—including the uniforms, toys, props and banners—were all wonderfully selected and perfectly matched, creating a visually appealing and cohesive theme. This level of quality clearly reflects the tremendous effort and dedication put in by every teacher and staff member. The reasonable ticket price was also a welcome bonus! Well done to everyone involved! We thoroughly enjoyed the event and are already looking forward to the next graduation and concert for our second grandchild. Thank you! ❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My 6-year-old has been attending the Gardner for the past 4.5 years and my daughter attended it during her K1 and K2. The school offers an excellent balance of play-based learning and early literacy skills. The teachers are nurturing, attentive, and truly care about each child’s individual needs. They maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates and photos of your child’s actions. The facilities are clean, bright, and well-equipped with age-appropriate learning materials. Overall, it provides a nurturing environment that fosters a strong educational foundation. I highly recommend Gardner Preschool for those seeking a quality early education environment.
Gardener Preschool is AMAZING! I love the teachers and the administration. It is really well run. Teacher turnover is low and they are a passionate, caring group. My kids are always engaged. The teachers are involved, the extracurriculars that are offered are great, and I love the field experiences that are offered. It truly is a gem of a school.
Luckily, I chose the school for my two kids, I got 100% to trust them because they treated my child as their own. The kids loved to school everyday and enjoyed every moment in class. The teachers were excellent, professional, patient, friendly, trustable and reliable. They kept an effective dialogue with me for updating my child’s status, they did so many things for the children, thanks so much for the teachers. That’s really a good and safe place for my kids having their wonderful childhoods, thanks very much for The Gardner Preschool!

The Gardner Preschool is listed at the mid-range price tier for Singapore childcare, though specific monthly fee figures are not published on this listing. When you enquire, ask for the full fee breakdown including the one-time registration fee, the deposit (typically equivalent to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms or insurance. Childcare fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly amount quoted should be the amount you pay. Fee levels can vary by programme type (infant care, playgroup, nursery, or kindergarten), so confirm the exact rate for your child's age group. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy (income-tested) can bring the combined subsidy up to S$710 per month. For families with children attending kindergarten, the KiFAS scheme provides means-tested fee assistance. Permanent residents are eligible for partial subsidies, though at lower quantum than citizens. Note that this listing does not confirm whether The Gardner Preschool holds an ECDA licence — verify this directly with the centre, as ECDA licensing is required for government subsidies to apply. Subsidy amounts are subject to change; check ECDA's website for the most current figures.
Demand for preschool places in Singapore — especially infant care — often exceeds supply at popular centres, and families are generally advised to enquire three to twelve months ahead of their intended start date. January is the main intake month, though some centres accept mid-year enrolments. To secure a place, you will typically need to pay a registration fee and deposit. Contact The Gardner Preschool directly by phone or via their online form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month. Do not assume a place is available simply because the listing is active.
