About The Growing Academy

About "The Growing Academy"

The Growing Academy is a preschool and kindergarten provider based at 30 Jln Selaseh, Singapore 808447, listed as KakiList verified and ACRA registered. It holds a 4.9-star rating across 36 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that points in a positive direction, though prospective families should weigh it alongside a centre visit and their own assessment. Fees are indicated at a mid-range price point ($$), though specific monthly figures have not been published; families should contact the centre directly for a full fee breakdown.

Families enquiring about a place are encouraged to ask about availability for their intended start month as early as possible — infant care and preschool slots at well-regarded centres can fill up many months in advance. During your initial enquiry, it is worth asking about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, the settling-in process for younger children, and whether the centre participates in ECDA subsidy schemes for Singapore citizen children. A centre visit before committing allows you to meet the teaching team, observe the environment, and review the parent contract in full.

To take the next step, reach out to The Growing Academy via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check current vacancies, confirm fee schedules, and arrange a visit to the centre.

I highly recommend The Growing Academy! They did a fantastic job with my son, Caleb, and we really appreciate the care and guidance from the teachers. A special shoutout to Teacher Ling—she has been wonderful and truly makes learning engaging and supportive. We are enrolled in the half-day daily programme, and it has been a great experience. My son is happier, learning well, and developing important skills in a nurturing environment. If you’re looking for a good programme with dedicated educators, I definitely recommend The Growing Academy.

The Growing Academy (TGA) helps kids with all sorts of special needs. Our son has been attending after school care at TGA this year, and he was more than happier. Recently the child had attended the 2 days camp during school holiday, it was pleasant experience for kids to gain more independence and have plenty fun opportunities. The teachers are patient and dedicated, taking the time to explain school home work too. There’s noticeable improvement of child’s behavior and he's gained much confidence in his social skills with peers. A safe and conducive environment for the child is highly important. Highly recommended for after school care ctr!

This 2D1N school holiday camp ( 11-12Sep 25) from Upper Paya outlet has been such a wonderful and meaningful experience for my son. It gave him the opportunity to try things he’s never done before — from enjoying a campfire and BBQ dinner to watching a late-night movie surrounded by a big group of friends. It was not just fun, but also a great way for him to build independence, social confidence, and unforgettable memories. I'm truly grateful to the school and teachers for organizing such a well-rounded and enriching camp experience.

The teachers and therapists from TGA have very good ability to connect with my child. The progress we've seen in my child's speech and language skills is truly remarkable. The shadow teacher has been an invaluable support in the classroom, providing tailored assistance to ensure my child can fully participate and thrive alongside the peers. I'm incredibly grateful for their patience, creativity, and unwavering support to have made a significant difference in my child’s daily preschool life.

We have been in TGA for over a year now, and I'm glad to say I do see improvement in my son's behaviour and communication skills. He is now much more expressive and is very happy to go to school. (A huge difference, as compared the experience with his previous schools). Everyday after school, he would share with me excitedly what did he do in school and always looks forward to the next schooling day. The teachers there provided daily and timely updates on he learned and did in school. As well as highlighted any areas which requires more attention. Communication with the teachers are done via the app and they do response pretty promptly too. Heartfelt thank you to all the teachers in TGA for taking care and loving my boy!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "The Growing Academy" charge per month?

The Growing Academy has not published a specific monthly fee on its listing, so families should contact the centre directly for a full breakdown. When enquiring, ask about the one-time registration fee, the deposit (typically equivalent to two months' fees at many Singapore centres), and any additional costs such as uniforms, insurance, or consumables. Childcare and kindergarten fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, which means the monthly amount quoted should not carry an additional goods and services tax charge. Fee structures can differ between full-day, half-day, and student care arrangements, so clarify which programme applies to your child's age group and schedule. What subsidies can I claim at "The Growing Academy"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled in an ECDA-licensed centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers who clock 56 hours or more of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy can bring the combined subsidy amount up to S$710 per month, subject to per-capita household income assessment. Families using kindergarten programmes should also ask whether the centre participates in the KidSTART or KiFAS scheme. Permanent residents receive partial subsidies at a reduced quantum compared to Singapore citizens. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are updated periodically, so consult the ECDA website directly for the most current figures before making enrolment decisions. Note: subsidy eligibility is contingent on the centre holding an active ECDA licence. Confirm the centre's licence status with ECDA before applying.

Is there a waitlist at "The Growing Academy"?

Availability at preschools and kindergartens in Singapore can be limited, particularly for infant care places and popular intake months. It is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date, and up to twelve months ahead for infant care, as these places tend to be filled earliest. The main intake period for most centres is January, aligned with the school calendar year, though some centres accept mid-year enrolments depending on vacancies. To secure a place once offered, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, so have these ready when you receive confirmation. Contact The Growing Academy directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month.
