Today our Infant to Pre-Nursery children went to The Music Scientist for their Learning Journey. The programme was conducted by Teacher Hym and Teacher Sze, and it was a wonderful experience for our students. Both teachers were very engaging, energetic, and interacted very well with the children. The activities were well-planned and suitable for different age groups. Even our younger infants were able to enjoy the session as they moved around, explored the music, and participated happily in the activities. It was a fun and meaningful learning journey where the children could experience music through movement and play. Thank you to the team for making the session enjoyable and memorable for our little ones.

The activities were age-appropriate, fun, and meaningful, allowing the children to explore sounds and movements confidently. The children were excited and actively participated throughout the lesson. It was wonderful to see them enjoying while learning at the same time. Teacher Yisze was patient, encouraging, and created a positive learning environment. Thank you for such a joyful and enriching musical experience. We look forward to more sessions in the future.

Our children had a wonderful and enriching experience at The Music Scientist in Tampines! The session was engaging, interactive, and thoughtfully conducted, allowing the children to explore music through movement, sound, and hands-on activities while having lots of fun. A heartfelt thank you to Teacher Axel, Teacher Liyana, Teacher Hym, and Teacher Esther for your warmth, energy, and professionalism in guiding the children so confidently and creatively. Both the children and teachers truly enjoyed the session and learned so much — it was a meaningful and memorable learning journey for all! 🎶🌟
We had a wonderful experience with the Music & Movement programme. It was very suitable for younger children, and they thoroughly enjoyed moving around, swaying to the music, and playing with the instruments. Teacher Liyana was warm, energetic, and highly engaging. She connected naturally with the children, encouraged participation, and created a joyful, supportive environment where everyone felt comfortable to explore and express themselves.

The Music Scientist lists its pricing at the S$$ level, but specific per-session, monthly, or term fees are not published publicly. In Singapore, enrichment music classes typically range from S$40–80 per session for group formats and S$80–200 per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the instrument, level, and duration. Term packages or monthly bundles often work out at a lower effective rate than drop-in pricing. It is worth asking about any trial class fee, whether materials or examination entry fees are charged separately, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. Confirm the full cost in writing before committing to a term. See the full Enrichment Classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many music enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class before requiring a term commitment, though policies vary — some charge a nominal trial fee while others offer the first session as a taster at full price. It is worth asking The Music Scientist directly whether a trial is available and what it costs. During a trial, look at whether the lesson pace suits your child's current level, how the teacher handles engagement and correction, and whether the teaching style feels like a good fit for your child's learning personality. A single session is usually enough to gauge whether the group dynamic and structure work for your family. Contact The Music Scientist via WhatsApp or phone to ask about trial availability before signing up for a full term.
Specific tutor qualifications for The Music Scientist are not listed publicly. For music enrichment, relevant credentials typically include a music degree or diploma from a recognised conservatory or university, practical teaching experience, and familiarity with graded examination syllabi such as ABRSM, Trinity College London, or LCM. Some teachers also hold music education certifications or have a performance background that informs their teaching approach. It is worth asking directly about the lead teacher's qualifications, how many years they have been teaching, and which examination boards or syllabi the programme is aligned to. If your child is working towards a specific grade examination, confirm that the teacher has a track record preparing students for that board. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
