About The Wedding Director
The Wedding Director is a photography and videography studio based at 28 Kallang Place, offering islandwide coverage for weddings and related celebrations in Singapore. KakiList has verified their operating details and contact channels. They hold a 4.9-star rating across 39 Google reviews — a moderate sample that points positively, though prospective clients should read individual reviews before committing.
Enquiries are best made by WhatsApp, phone, or the online form, stating the wedding date, venue, and approximate guest count. Discuss whether you need photography only, videography only, or a combined package, and clarify the hours of coverage — from actual-day morning preparations through to the evening reception, or a shorter ROM solemnisation shoot. Confirm what deliverables are included: edited photo count, highlight reel duration, raw footage handover, turnaround time, and the number of photographers or videographers on the day. Ask about style fit — documentary, editorial, or fine-art — and whether an engagement or pre-wedding shoot is bundled or available as an add-on. Clarify the travel charge for venues outside the central region, the setup access window, and the wet-weather contingency for outdoor solemnisations.
To secure a date, contact The Wedding Director with your event details and request a written package proposal; popular Saturdays in March, April, October, and November fill quickly, so it is worth reaching out as soon as the venue is confirmed.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.

Wedding photography and videography packages in Singapore typically range from S$2,500 to S$6,000 or more for full-day photography, S$3,000 to S$8,000 for full-day videography, and higher for combined packages. Pricing varies with hours of coverage, number of shooters, deliverable count, and turnaround time. The Wedding Director uses package-based pricing — request a detailed quote to see exactly what is included. Confirm the deposit amount (typically 30–50% on signing to hold the date) and the balance payment schedule (usually 1–2 weeks before the event). Ask whether GST applies and whether travel charges, pre-wedding shoots, or additional editing hours are billed separately. See the full Photography & Videography cost guide for Singapore →
For wedding photography and videography, a lead time of 6–12 months is standard. Peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November are the first to fill, and in-demand studios often close their calendars for those dates well in advance. ROM solemnisations and weekday events generally have more flexibility, but 3–6 months ahead is still advisable. Once you have a venue date confirmed, reach out promptly to check availability. A signed contract and deposit are the only way to secure the booking — verbal confirmations are not held in this industry. If your preferred date is unavailable, ask whether the studio can refer a trusted associate shooter who works to a similar style. Confirm whether the date is firm or subject to change, and ask about the rescheduling policy if a force-majeure situation requires a postponement.
The standard industry practice is a 30–50% deposit on signing, which holds the date exclusively for you and typically covers initial planning consultations and any pre-wedding shoot included in the package. The balance is usually due one to two weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers and whether it is transferable to a rescheduled date. Deposits in the wedding photography and videography industry are typically non-refundable if you cancel, because the studio has turned away other bookings for that date. Ask specifically about the policy if you relocate overseas, change the venue to a destination outside Singapore, or face a venue cancellation beyond your control — some studios offer partial credit or a rescheduling window in such circumstances. Also confirm public liability insurance coverage, especially if your venue (HDB void deck, condo function room, hotel ballroom) requires the vendor to produce a certificate of insurance before setup.
