About theVideocompany
theVideocompany is a photography and videography provider based in Yishun, offering islandwide coverage across Singapore. The listing has been verified by KakiList, confirming active contact channels, though ACRA registration has not been confirmed. With a 5/5 rating across 6 Google reviews, the score is directional only given the small sample size, and prospective clients should gather additional references before booking.
Enquiries typically begin with the event date, venue, and headcount, followed by a conversation about style — documentary, cinematic, editorial, or a mix — and the scope of coverage required. For weddings, this includes decisions around the ROM solemnisation, tea ceremony, gatecrash, and banquet, as well as dialect-group customs that affect the run of day. For baby full-month and 100-day celebrations, confirm whether a same-day highlights reel or a delivered edit within a set turnaround is expected. Packages vary by hours of coverage, number of photographers or videographers, final deliverable format (edited video, highlight reel, raw footage, print gallery), and whether a site recce is included. Confirm the deposit on signing — typically 30–50% — with the balance due one to two weeks before the event, the travel arrangement for venues outside central Singapore, and the wet-weather or contingency plan for any outdoor elements.
Contact theVideocompany via phone or the enquiry form to check date availability, request a package breakdown, and confirm the deliverables timeline before paying any deposit.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
Very clean, open concept space. Kitchen studio, great for making a cooking or baking YouTube channel! The beautiful main studio area is the highlight for any kind of production shoot. Also, the building is right by the bus stop, few mins away from Yishun MRT.
The team was able to provide quality video production despite the brief coming in at a very short notice. Thanks! :)
Nice experience working with The Video Company!

Photography and videography packages in Singapore vary significantly by scope. Full-day wedding photography typically runs S$2,500–6,000+, full-day videography S$3,000–8,000+, and combined photo-and-video packages are often available at a bundled rate. Baby full-month and 100-day shoots are generally priced lower, in the S$300–1,500 range depending on duration and deliverables. Confirm what each package includes: hours of coverage, number of shooters, edited images or video cut, highlight reel, raw footage handover, number of revision rounds, and the expected turnaround time. A deposit of 30–50% on signing is standard to hold the date, with the balance typically due one to two weeks before the event. Travel charges may apply for venues outside the central region. For weddings, book 6–12 months ahead. Popular Saturdays in March, April, October, and November — peak wedding season in Singapore — fill earliest, and sought-after photographers and videographers are often fully committed a year out. If your date is flexible, enquire early regardless to understand availability. For baby full-month, 100-day, and birthday shoots, 6–12 weeks is generally sufficient, though popular dates around school holidays and festive periods can go faster. Confirm at enquiry whether your specific date is still open and whether a site recce at your venue is included or available as an add-on. Locking in the date with a written contract and deposit is the only way to secure the booking.
The industry standard in Singapore is a non-refundable deposit of 30–50% on signing, which holds the date and covers any pre-event planning, consultation, and recce time already committed. The balance is typically due one to two weeks before the event. Confirm in writing exactly what the deposit covers and what happens if you need to reschedule — most providers allow a one-time date transfer within a set window without forfeiting the deposit, but terms differ. Also ask about the rescheduling policy if a force-majeure situation — a public-health restriction or an unavoidable venue closure — requires a change of date. For events with outdoor components, clarify the wet-weather contingency plan. Confirm whether public liability insurance is held, particularly if the shoot takes place at an HDB void deck, condo function room, or hotel venue that may require a certificate before setup.
