The doctor is polite and pleasant, though the medical skills are fairly average. To be frank, this is quite typical in Singapore and cannot really be compared with doctors in China or South Korea. The concern lies in the sales approach. Several years ago, I topped up a few thousand dollars, and part of the balance is still unused. At present, our original gold microneedling package has one remaining session to be completed. Prior to this visit, I had a clear discussion with the consultant, Megan. We agreed that after completing the remaining session, if the doctor felt further treatment was necessary, we would use my existing stored value to continue. I also explicitly instructed that no packages or treatments were to be promoted to my husband. Megan acknowledged this and assured me clearly that this would be respected. However, despite this agreement, my husband was approached and encouraged to purchase a new $6,000 Potenza gold microneedling package when he visited alone. This was particularly disappointing, as it directly contradicted the prior understanding and assurance given to me. Friends whom I personally introduced later have shared similar concerns about sales pressure, and eventually, we all stopped going. This review is shared to reflect an honest personal experience and to help others make an informed decision.

The best dermatologist you can find. I’ve struggled with multiple skin conditions for years, so when I moved to Singapore’s hot and humid climate, I was genuinely worried about finding professional care suited to my sensitive Caucasian skin. Dr. Yanni and Evelyn have truly been a godsend — they’ve transformed the quality of my skin. Dr. Yanni took the time to carefully review my medical history and was absolutely spot-on with both her diagnosis and treatment plan. I’d also like to thank Dr. Byron for his great help with my hair-loss treatment. Beyond their outstanding medical expertise, everyone at the clinic is very warm, friendly, and accommodating. I was a regular client for almost two years and only stopped because I recently relocated back to Europe. I have been with The Urban Clinic for last 2 years. Amazing experience and the staff are always very friendly. Dr Tsu has helped me with suggested treatments and my acne prone skin chin has cleared up a lot. Thankful to have Dr Tsu Boon Hsiung of The Urban Clinic as my Aesthetics Doctor for more than a decade. Know Dr Tsu personally when we were working together in the Aesthetics Medical industry 10 years ago. Being in the industry then allows me to have an insight into what the aesthetics equipment really do to help improve/ maintain my skin & body. It also helps me to know what I am looking for in an aesthetics doctor who can help me in my aesthetics journey as a patient. Dr Tsu is one doctor that I recommend and give 120% assurance to anyone who is looking for an aesthetics doctor. It is so important to have a responsible, approachable and meticulous doctor who can addressed your skin/ body issues whenever you have questions and also customise your treatments accordingly. I do not have a prefixed aesthetics treatments with Dr Tsu. Instead, I leave it in his hands to customise the treatments and/ or prescribe any medical creams accordingly because I am very sure he knows what would work for me. I am a busy mom of 3 young kids so there are many times where I may miss the calls for appointment confirmations from the clinic front desk. But I am thankful to Dr Tsu’s assistant, Megan who would drop me a message instead to remind me of my appointments as well as to follow up with me after each treatments. If need be, I know I can also drop Megan a message anytime who would help me with questions on any treatment/medication cream that I am unsure of its usage. So if you are looking for an experienced Aesthetic Medical Doctor, Dr Tsu Boon Hsiung of The Urban Clinic is definitely highly recommended.
