When engaging Urban Paws, it helps to share your pet's size, breed, and coat type upfront, as these factors typically influence the grooming package and duration. Vaccination records are usually required before a first appointment — specifically proof of current DHPP and rabies vaccinations for dogs, and FVRCP for cats. If your pet has particular sensitivities around handling or other animals, flag this when making an enquiry so the groomer can accommodate accordingly. You can reach Urban Paws by phone or through their online enquiry form to discuss recurring grooming schedules or one-off appointments.
To get started, contact Urban Paws via phone or the enquiry form to confirm availability, share your pet's details, and arrange a first grooming visit at their Telok Kurau Road location.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
It was our furkids’ second stay with Urban Paws. We find that the staff are extremely patient and always interact with the dogs in a kind manner. Our dogs as expected were hesitant to be left in a new place but in just one day were running around and playing, which shows how comfortable they felt in such a short time, which is again a testament to the staff’s handling of the pets in their care. The staff never force the dogs to do anything they don’t want to do, and instead give them space to calm down and acclimatise. The dogs are never alone since there’s always a person on-site and we got plenty of daily updates and videos of them. There’s quite a few outings arranged for the dogs and they take pictures and videos for you as well so you can see where they went and what they did for each outing. The dogs get groomed before check out as well. Staff are very responsive to queries and very understanding towards owners. Overall this is a fantastic place to look after your pets and it has been and will be our go-to anytime we need a place. We’re very grateful for the excellent care they provided to our furkids. Kudos to the team!
Fantastic service, Im assured my doggo is in good hands when I entrust him yo the Urban Paws Team!
Satisfied with Urban Paws for dog grooming. My cockapoo has tried their full grooming service (starting at $70), (includes nail trimming, paw pad shave, sanitary shave, anal expression, ear cleaning, shower and blow dry, plus fur cutting and styling) and I found it very professional :) Hope to try their day boarding service one day!
I've been taking my dog Oreo to Urban Paws at Telok Kurau for a while now, and it's clear that he loves it there. The staff are kind and caring, and they treat all of the dogs as if they were their own. Oreo spends his time getting to know new friends, playing with toys, and participating in various activities. I'm glad to see that he's made so many friends there and is always excited to go back. One of the things I appreciate about Urban Paws is their focus on safety. They have an animal behavior specialist on staff to help the dogs socialize and learn good habits. They also color code the dogs so that they won't get lost, which is a great idea and shows that they put the safety of the dogs first. Overall, I highly recommend Urban Paws at Telok Kurau to any dog owner looking for a safe and fun daycare for their furry friend. The staff are wonderful, the facilities are top-notch, and the dogs are treated with love and care. I'm grateful to have found such a great place for Oreo and will continue to bring him there in the future.
I've been sending Cooper to UP for daycare almost once a week for the past two months, and it's clear he absolutely loves it. He gets incredibly excited when I tell him he's going to school, and when waiting for transport, he wags his tail enthusiastically. He even whines to get on any van that resembles his school bus! One of the things I love most about UP is their excursions to different parts of Singapore. It's wonderful for my furkid to explore and socialize with his friends, especially when I have a busy schedule. UP also provides video updates throughout the day and plenty of photos during their excursions. If you're looking for daycare in the east, I highly recommend UP!

Grooming fees in Singapore vary primarily by the pet's size, breed, and coat condition. For dogs, a standard groom for a small breed typically starts from around S$50–S$80, while larger or double-coated breeds can run S$100–S$180 or more. Add-on services such as de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, nail grinding, or ear cleaning are usually priced separately and can add S$10–S$30 per service. Urban Paws is listed at the mid-range price tier. Contact them directly to get a confirmed quote based on your specific pet before booking. See the full pet grooming cost guide for Singapore →
Most grooming providers in Singapore require proof of up-to-date core vaccinations before accepting a pet. For dogs, this typically means DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia) is the standard requirement. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is more commonly mandated for boarding and daycare environments but some groomers request it as well. Vaccinations are generally considered current if administered within the past 12 months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate to your first appointment. Confirm Urban Paws' specific requirements when you enquire, as policies can differ.
In Singapore, the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board regulates facilities that board animals, and a licence is required for boarding operations. Grooming-only providers are not subject to the same mandatory AVS facility licence as boarding kennels, though all businesses handling animals are expected to comply with the Animal & Birds Act. Urban Paws holds KakiList verified status, confirming that its operating details have been checked. No specific AVS or other regulatory licence is listed on the profile. Before your first visit, it is worth asking Urban Paws directly about their insurance coverage and the protocol they follow if a pet is injured or taken unwell during a grooming session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
