About Urus Jenazah Singapore
Urus Jenazah Singapore is a funeral services provider operating islandwide from its Changi Road premises. The listing has been verified by KakiList, though ACRA registration has not been confirmed and no regulatory licences are on record. The provider holds a 5/5 Google rating across 11 reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional only rather than conclusive.
Families engaging a funeral service provider typically begin with a phone or written enquiry to establish the scope of care required, which may include body collection, religious or cultural rites, documentation such as the death certificate and burial or cremation permit, and coordination with NEA-licensed facilities. For Muslim funeral rites (jenazah services), specific requirements apply including talqin, washing and shrouding of the deceased, and prayers, all of which must be conducted within prescribed timeframes. Clarifying these arrangements, any preferred mosque involvement, and the family's budget early in the conversation helps avoid delays at a sensitive time.
To begin, contact Urus Jenazah Singapore by phone or through the enquiry form. Confirm the full scope of services, itemised costs, and which documentation they will handle on the family's behalf before any agreement is signed.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
I want to thank Ustaz and all of his staff for their exemplary and praiseworthy service to my late father and my family and all the guests who came to the funeral. Their services were seamless, efficient, professional, respectful and sensitive to the needs of a grieving family. Our late father passed away at 6am. Thanks to Ustaz, everything was efficiently arranged in a complete package: - from the doctor coming to the house to certify my late father’s death, - to his bathing (all the equipment and clothing were provided for) and his staff were excellent, - to cooperating in the organising for two funeral prayers: one at home, led by the family; and another at the mosque, where his team transported my late father, - to the burial (all was organised by Ustaz with the NEA) and the guests were transported in two buses. The invoicing at the end was also seamless and all costs were broken down clearly and we could not be more grateful. Thank you so much again, and we sincerely wish that God will bless you and your wonderful team for doing such an amazing service to the community during a very difficult time.
Services were satisfying during my dad’s funeral. Appreciated the Tahlil by Ustaz Roslan🙏
Their excellant service during the passing of our baby girl.

Funeral service costs vary considerably depending on the type of rites, number of services included, and whether additional coordination — such as mosque arrangements, transport, or burial plot management — is required. Pricing is not publicly listed, so families should request an itemised quote covering each component of the service. Confirm in writing what is included in any package fee versus what is billed separately, including documentation fees, transport, and any disbursements paid to third parties such as NEA or the relevant religious body. This avoids unexpected costs at a very stressful time. See the full eldercare and funeral services cost guide for Singapore →
Urus Jenazah Singapore is a funeral services provider rather than a caregiving or home-nursing service, so the live-in versus visit-based distinction does not apply here. The scope of engagement centres on end-of-life and post-passing arrangements, including collection of the deceased, preparation of the body, religious rites, and coordination with burial or cremation facilities. Families requiring ongoing eldercare support — such as a live-in caregiver, daily visits, or dementia care — should seek a separate AIC-registered or MOH-licensed home care provider. Urus Jenazah Singapore's focus, based on its name and category, is specifically on jenazah (Islamic funeral) services. Contact the provider directly to confirm the precise scope of services available.
As a funeral services provider rather than a caregiving agency, Urus Jenazah Singapore does not place caregivers into the home. The relevant question for this provider is whether the personnel conducting jenazah rites — washing, shrouding, and funeral prayers — are trained and accredited in Islamic funeral practice, ideally with endorsement from MUIS or a recognised religious body. No regulatory licences are currently on record for this listing, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed. Families should ask directly about the qualifications of the individuals performing rites, any affiliation with MUIS-registered mosques, and whether the provider holds professional indemnity or public liability insurance. Listing data is incomplete — contact Urus Jenazah Singapore directly to confirm details.
If Urus Jenazah Singapore isn't the right fit, these are other funeral services providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
