I first had my rabbit in Sep 2024. I was introduced to Vet Affinity thanks to the rabbit community who raved about Dr Kris being an excellent and well skilled specialist who treats exotics (rabbits). During my first visit, I could instantly tell that Dr Kris was rich in experience and had the heart to care for animals. She reassured my late rabbit during the examinations and that made me feel that my late rabbit was safe in her hands. She was very thorough and meticulous during her examination too. Although my late rabbit had few common illnesses, Dr Kris never once dismissed them and only ensured that I understood the importance of ensuring my late rabbit was 100% in the pink of health before deciding to proceed with the vaccinations. Instead of repeating follow-up consults (which would easily earned them profits), they offered to check in via WhatsApp and understand/ assess my late rabbit’s condition. This helped me to reduce the cost of the visits and ensuring that each visit was meaningful and otherwise as per needed. When preparing for my late rabbit’s sterilisation surgery, she noted from the blood work that his liver ALT values were out of the range, she provided a prognosis and explained that medication should help. During the follow up, Panko’s (my late rabbit) ALT level did not drop, but Dr Kris provided a new prognosis and also provided a positive outlook for me as a worrying owner. During each follow up, I was unable to be physically present, in which I sent a family member in place. She allowed the means of having me talk to her via phone, this really showed me how compassionate she is as a veterinarian. Even after the surgery, she provided a follow up call and post op notes which helped me to understand how I could proceed with the post-surgery care. Unfortunately, on 19 Sep 2025, Panko suddenly passed away, there were no trauma, indications of GI stasis or all other comment signs of anything. PS: Panko was schedule for a booster vaccination on 22 Sep. Devastated by Panko’s sudden departure, I reached out and let them know about the news, which I proceeded to retain the appointment and was willing to pay, just so I could speak to Dr Kris and have closure. They declined and instead had Dr Kris give me a phone call past office hours (upon clearing her patients). She then ran through the probable causes of what might have happened, answering all my doubts and reassured my self blames. The words she said were really touching and it indeed helped with my grievance. Dr Kris is the vet you want your animals to be seen by. Dr Kris has been so accommodating and supportive throughout my entire visit and post visits. She made me understand and feel how safe my pet must have felt during the examinations. Especially as a first time rabbit owner, she never once failed to answer my queries, ensuring that I clear all my doubts which helped me understand how to better care for my pet. I and on behalf of Panko, would like to sincerely thank Dr Kris and her team for being so accommodating to me especially with me being a first time rabbit owner. They would never fail to answer my concerns, finding ways to suit my needs (getting medication for Panko, arranging phone calls during consultation when I had a family member bring Panko for consult), being compassionate to both animals and owners and tirelessly writing consult notes past office hours. She really is the veterinary practitioner that lets you rest assured that she will do anything and everything in her knowledge and ability to provide the best for your pet.

The veterinarians there are great and very knowledgeable, but getting an appointment with them is very difficult. I had a dental surgery scheduled for my pet, but it was cancelled because Dr took MC. I had to find another vet who could accommodate us, go through a new consultation, and reschedule the surgery. Unfortunately, my pet’s dental condition worsened, and she is now hospitalised due to the delayed treatment. This is not the first time my appointment has been cancelled. Perhaps the clinic should consider hiring more veterinarians so that if Dr took MC, another doctor could take over. We are working adults, and we have to take leave and rearrange our work schedules for these appointments.
