I cannot recommend Vets for Life (Holland Village) highly enough! My 3-year-old Labrador, Taras, recently underwent dental scaling for moderate tartar buildup. Like many pet parents, I was initially hesitant, but after some research and community advice, I chose VFL HV—and I’m so glad I did. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Candice at the front desk is a total gem—kind, empathetic, and incredibly thorough with quotes and information. She even followed up on a Sunday, which truly speaks to their dedication. Dr. Sandhu was equally impressive. Her expertise and genuine care for Taras’s welfare were evident. She walked me through the entire procedure and kept me updated throughout the day, which completely eased my nerves. Taras is now back to his usual self, sporting the shiniest white 'chompers' in the neighbourhood! Thank you to the entire team for taking such wonderful care of our fur son.

As with all Vets for Life clinics, the experience is professional and the team is always welcoming with their warm smile, service and passion! Been visiting the Katong branch, however due to work arrangement was needing to pick up medication from the HV branch. Jia Hui was super helpful to cordinate the prescription with the Katong team and collection was a breeze! Very nice touch of them to extend the opening gift totebag. Thoughtful much to curate a bag of goodies for my 2 rescue cat! Very nice people!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Vets for Life Animal Clinic (Holland Village) charge?

Veterinary consultation fees in Singapore typically range from S$30 to S$80 for a standard visit, though the total cost will depend on your pet's condition, any diagnostic tests required (such as blood panels or X-rays), medications prescribed, and the complexity of treatment. Vets for Life Animal Clinic is priced at the mid-range tier ($$), but the clinic has not published a fixed fee schedule publicly. For procedures such as vaccinations, sterilisation, dental scaling, or specialist referrals, costs can vary considerably. It is advisable to ask for an itemised estimate at the start of your visit so there are no surprises. Transport costs to and from the clinic are not included in the consultation fee. What vaccinations does Vets for Life Animal Clinic (Holland Village) require?

For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies, with rabies vaccination being mandatory under Singapore's Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) regulations. Bordetella (kennel cough) is commonly recommended, particularly if your dog attends boarding or socialises with other dogs regularly. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (covering feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is the standard core vaccination, and rabies is also required. Most vaccination courses need to be current — typically within the past 12 months — and you should bring your pet's vaccination booklet or digital records to your appointment. If you are unsure whether your pet's vaccinations are up to date, contact the clinic in advance so they can advise on what boosters may be needed before or during the visit.

Is Vets for Life Animal Clinic (Holland Village) licensed and insured?

Veterinary clinics in Singapore that provide clinical care are regulated under the Veterinary and Agri-Food Authority of Singapore (formerly AVS, now under the Singapore Food Agency framework). Practising veterinarians must be registered with the AVS-administered licensing framework. Vets for Life Animal Clinic does not have specific licences listed in its KakiList profile, so it is advisable to confirm the practising veterinarian's registration directly with the clinic. For boarding or grooming services, AVS licensing for the facility itself would be a separate requirement. If you intend to leave your pet overnight, ask the clinic specifically whether they hold the relevant AVS boarding licence. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off. If in doubt, you can also verify the veterinarian's credentials via the AVS public register.
