Prospective students or parents should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the school teaches the instrument and grade level required, and whether lessons are aligned to ABRSM, Trinity, or an internal progression framework. It is worth asking about group lessons versus one-to-one tuition, as these differ in pace, cost, and interaction style. Clarifying term commitment upfront is important, as many music schools require enrolment by term. The Sengkang location at The Seletar Mall makes it accessible for residents in the north-east, and it is worth confirming whether any online or outreach options are available for those further afield.
To take the next step, reach out to Vienna Music School by phone or via the enquiry form to ask about current availability, instrument options, and whether a trial class can be arranged before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Deep appreciation and gratitude to Teacher Rachael and Vienna for coaching and supporting our daughter through the past 2 years of her learning the violin. Rachael's patient and firm approach in teaching my daughter has made a huge difference in her development and in helping her to achieve the various grades. My daughter tends to be distracted and requires a lot of encouragement to persevere in her focus. Thus, it was assuring to us that Rachael demonstrated commitment in facilitating her learning with encouragement and clear direction. We appreciate the regular, timely and useful feedback from Rachael about our daughter’s growth. And even opening up opportunities for her to join recitals. Really helps to motivate her to practice more. So thankful for Teacher Rachael and Vienna for following up with us, reminding us about breaks and lessons, and exercising understanding when we had to pause or postpone her classes! Definitely highly recommend!
I am so grateful to have Tr Lei as my kids’ piano teacher (8yo and 6yo) since Sep 2023 till now. She is incredibly patient, passionate, and has a wonderful way of connecting with children. My elder child used to struggle with piano, especially with music notes, due to a previous teaching method that didn’t quite suit him. It was a challenging journey that made learning feel frustrating. But with Tr Lei, things have been completely different. Her engaging and thoughtful teaching style has not only helped my elder child regain confidence and interest in music, but has also made it so much easier for my younger child to start learning. I’m so glad that my younger one doesn’t have to go through the same struggles her brother did — she’s able to catch on quickly and is enjoying the learning process from the start. My children have shown wonderful progress under Tr Lei’s guidance. I truly appreciate her dedication and highly recommend her to any parent looking for a teacher who understands, inspires, and brings out the best in young learners.
Teacher Rachael at Vienna Music School (Seletar Mall) is an exceptional violin teacher who truly cares. My daughter has been learning violin from teacher Rachael since she was 8 years old, and now, at 17, she is preparing for her Grade 7 exam. Over the years, teacher Rachael has been an outstanding mentor—highly professional, experienced, passionate, patient, and kind. What truly sets her apart is her holistic approach to teaching. She not only nurtures musical skills but also provides valuable guidance to help students grow as individuals. She is always open to communication and collaboration with parents, ensuring that we are involved in the learning process. She goes the extra mile by providing detailed updates after every lesson, allowing us to track progress and support our child’s journey. Her dedication, patience, and commitment to her students are truly commendable. I highly recommend teacher Rachael to anyone looking for a highly qualified violin teacher who is not only skilled in teaching all levels of violin but also genuinely invested in her students’ development.
Excellent experience with this school. Dedicated teachers. Front line staff are always cheerful and friendly to kids and even to parents asking enquiries. Overall, great customer service.
Nice ambient and the Ukelele teacher Mr Anis is very patient with my 7 years old boy. He had been with Mr Anis for coming to years and he loves attending his lesson. :)

Vienna Music School indicates mid-range pricing ($$), but specific per-session rates are not publicly listed. In the Singapore market, music tuition typically ranges from S$30–60 per group session and S$60–120 or more for one-to-one lessons, depending on the instrument, grade level, and teacher experience. Some schools charge by term rather than by individual session, which can affect how costs compare. It is also worth asking about trial class fees, material or examination entry costs (such as ABRSM or Trinity grade fees), and whether sibling or package discounts apply. Contact Vienna Music School directly for a current fee schedule. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of the first lesson. A trial is a useful way to assess whether the teaching style suits the student, whether the level pitched is appropriate, and whether the student feels engaged and comfortable with the teacher. When attending a trial, take note of how the teacher explains concepts, manages the student's attention, and responds to mistakes. For younger children especially, rapport with the teacher matters as much as technical ability. Ask Vienna Music School directly whether a trial session is available and what the associated cost or conditions are.
Specific tutor qualifications for Vienna Music School are not publicly listed. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each teacher's performance or academic background in music, years of teaching experience, and familiarity with the examination syllabus your child will follow — whether ABRSM, Trinity College London, or another framework. For MOE-aligned music programmes, some tutors hold NIE training or prior school teaching experience, which can be relevant for students preparing for school-based assessments. If this matters to you, ask directly and confirm before committing to a term.
