About Whissh
Whissh is a part-time helper service operating islandwide from its Tai Seng office. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, and carries a 4.2/5 rating across 297 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides meaningful signal on customer experience. Pricing is positioned at the mid-range ($$) on an hourly model, in line with the typical S$18–25/hour bracket for licensed cleaning companies in Singapore.
Engaging Whissh follows the standard part-time cleaning flow: confirm the property type (HDB, condo, or landed), the size of the space, and whether you need a one-off clean, a recurring weekly or fortnightly schedule, a deep clean, or a post-renovation or pre-move-in clean. Enquire about the minimum hours per visit (typically three to four hours), whether equipment and cleaning supplies are provided or homeowner-supplied, and whether the same helper is assigned for recurring bookings. If the helper deployed is a foreign national, Whissh as the deploying company must hold a MOM-issued cleaning business licence — direct hire of foreign freelancers for part-time work is illegal under MOM rules and exposes the homeowner to fines of S$5,000–10,000 and a two-year hiring ban. Confirm the company's licensed status and ask about public liability insurance coverage before your first session.
To get started, contact Whissh by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing, describe your property and cleaning requirements, and request a confirmed booking with the rate, session length, and equipment arrangement in writing.
If the helper is foreign, confirm the company's MOM cleaning business licence before booking — the penalty for hiring an unlicensed foreign freelancer lands on you, not them.
Terrible service and one of the worst I’ve had with aircon servicing. Website lists scope of service but when the technician arrived he only vacuumed the coils. Didn’t even bother to remove the blower and did not even vacuum the drainage system. When asked why, the technician replied “oh, not dirty” - huh?? I pay you to service whether it’s dirty or not isn’t it? Anyway, my servicing was supposed to take place Friday, but got called on Thursday (the day before) to ask to reschedule which was not very convenient but I accepted. On the actual day, technician arrived 10 mins late, and when I asked if can top up for deep cleaning of one AC unit, was told cannot coz he was “in a rush”. I have one more appointment in my package but I’m going to ask for a refund. I’d rather go back to my previous provider even though more expensive. Stay away!
The service provided by Whissh included: 1. Deep Cleaning of the apartment 2. Aircon servicing 3.Deep cleaning of the curtains The experience was efficient & effective! Kudos goes to Apple who was very responsive patient & effective in carrying out her job. Thank you! We also want to single out the indian lady that did a first class job in deep cleaning of the apartment for handling taking over!
We are very pleased with their cleaning services. They work hard throughout their 5hrs of work. The move fast, wiped out evrything thats unreachable for me. I would definitely recommend them to others.
I Whissh I had known you earlier! Whissh delivers the cleaning services and arrangements professionally. I am so glad to have their help. My regular assigned cleaning girl has been a great help - Yik Yik, as well as supervisor Nwe who gave a good start and overview on the first session. If you are looking for cleaning help, I recommend Whissh.
Great service. Done first air con service with Whissh yesterday. Technician came on time, very polite. They did very detail cleaning and explaining what is the best way to avoid over use, condensation may take places….etc. Comparing to service provider 3xx, I find Whissh more professional. I believe I made the right choice to switch to Whissh after 4 years with other service providers

Whissh prices on an hourly basis, with a typical market rate of S$18–25/hour from licensed cleaning companies, subject to a minimum of three to four hours per visit. A standard recurring session for a two- to three-bedroom HDB flat therefore runs roughly S$54–100 per visit. One-off deep cleans are generally quoted at a higher rate and depend on property size — market norms run S$150–800 for standard cleans, S$350–1,800 for post-renovation cleans, and S$400–2,500 for pre-move-in cleans. Confirm in writing whether the rate includes cleaning equipment and supplies or whether you need to provide them, and whether there is a surcharge for landed properties or larger-than-standard spaces. Foreign part-time helpers must be deployed by a MOM-licensed cleaning company — they cannot be engaged directly by homeowners. Hiring a foreign freelancer for part-time cleaning work, regardless of how the arrangement is described, is illegal under MOM regulations. The penalty falls on the homeowner: a fine of S$5,000–10,000 and a two-year ban on hiring any domestic helpers. When booking through a company such as Whissh, confirm that the company holds the relevant MOM cleaning business licence before your first session. Singaporean and PR helpers are not subject to these restrictions and can be hired directly without issue. If you are unsure of the nationality of the helper being assigned, ask in advance.
A reputable part-time cleaning company should carry public liability insurance — the market standard is S$500,000 minimum — which covers accidental damage to property or belongings during a session. Before booking, ask Whissh to confirm the policy coverage in writing, including whether it extends to breakage of valuables or damage caused by cleaning equipment. Also clarify the substitute policy: helpers occasionally take leave or fall ill, and a reliable company should be able to send a trained substitute within 24 hours rather than leaving a booking uncovered. It is worth asking whether Whissh operates a regular-helper model — where the same individual is assigned each visit — or a booking-pool model where different helpers rotate, as consistency of assignment affects both trust and the quality of familiarity with your home.
