Families interested in enrolling should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as preschool places — particularly for younger cohorts — can fill quickly. When you contact Whistle Woods Schoolhouse by phone or through their enquiry form, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine and curriculum approach, and the settling-in period for new children. It is also worth clarifying whether the centre is registered with ECDA, as Singapore citizen children attending ECDA-licensed centres may be eligible for childcare subsidies. Bring your child's birth certificate and any relevant documents to the centre visit so enrolment formalities can move smoothly.
To take the next step, reach out to Whistle Woods Schoolhouse directly via phone or the contact form on their listing to check current slot availability and arrange a centre visit before committing to enrolment.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

My daughter joined 2 holiday programmes (Christmas and Chinese New Year) at Whistlewoods and she thoroughly enjoyed her time. She comes home singing the songs she learnt there and talks about her time at school a lot. My favourite part of the school is the baking that happens on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the kids come in and knead their own dough first thing in the morning, and the teacher pops it in the oven while the kids head off for their next class and then they all come back in to eat the bread they made for morning tea! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the kids take an outdoor walk through the nature reserve, something I really love about them as well! The school is relatively new so the student count isn't massive, which was a huge plus point for me because it means students can get more one on one time with the teachers! Last but not least, meals are all prepped by the owner herself and are healthy and yummy. Teacher tells me my kid sometimes asks for seconds!
Both of our kids have been attending Whistle Woods since the start of the year, and our experience so far has been nothing short of awesome! All the teachers, including the Principal and Director, put in a lot of effort in building the school's environment, preparing lessons, and most importantly we feel that they authentically and genuinely love the kids and enjoy what they are doing. It is heartening to see the kids run and hug the teachers; and they also come home happily sharing what they have done in school. We are so happy that we made the right decision to send the kids here!
My almost 3YO daughter thoroughly enjoyed the holiday program at Whistle Woods! The program was widely varied and she had many wonderful first experiences here. The teachers are all gentle and caring. Though our time here was not too long, I felt that they truly loved and bonded with her. The facilities were also very clean and airy. I was blown away by the fact that meals were all prepared in house by the owner herself. Every meal was nutritious and healthy and was well complimented by my daughter! Communication with teachers and the team was also super easy and open. We travelled from the east to join the holiday program and would do so again in a heartbeat!
A hidden gem - teachers are passionate about their crafts & creation of teaching materials (some done even from scratch). They value and respect each child as an individual; our children enjoyed the rich engagement everyday with the low ratio; and experienced the joy of learning at the school! Love the tech free environment & also the calmness and quietness of the space - a much needed sanctuary for our children to learn and regulate in their early years; on top of that their nature walks taught my children to slow down/ stop and observe - thanks to the guidance of the teachers!
Beautiful campus next to the green corridor, and a very loving team of teachers. My daughter had a lovely time with Whistle Woods.

Whistle Woods Schoolhouse is priced in the mid-range ($$) bracket for Singapore preschools and kindergartens, though a precise monthly figure has not been published on this listing. You should request a full fee schedule directly from the centre. Beyond the monthly tuition fee, ask about the one-time registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), as well as any uniform and personal accident insurance charges. Childcare and kindergarten fees at registered centres are GST-exempt in Singapore, so the quoted fee should be the amount you pay. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children attending ECDA-licensed childcare centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare — subject to household income. Working mothers employed for 56 hours or more per month may additionally claim the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMCCS). Lower-income families can apply for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring the combined monthly subsidy to up to S$710 for childcare. For kindergartens, the KiFAS (Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme) applies at eligible anchor and partner operators. Permanent Residents receive partial subsidies. Subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so check directly with ECDA at ecda.gov.sg for current figures before making enrolment decisions. Confirm with Whistle Woods Schoolhouse whether it is an ECDA-licensed centre before applying.
Popular preschools and kindergartens in Singapore frequently fill their cohorts several months in advance. As a general guide, families are advised to enquire at least three to six months before the intended start date; for infant care places, demand can mean waiting lists extend six to twelve months out. January is the primary intake month for most centres, so enquiries made in the middle of the preceding year tend to have the best chance of securing a preferred spot. To hold a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Whistle Woods Schoolhouse directly by phone or via the enquiry form to check current availability for your child's age group and intended start month.
