My daughter joined 2 holiday programmes (Christmas and Chinese New Year) at Whistlewoods and she thoroughly enjoyed her time. She comes home singing the songs she learnt there and talks about her time at school a lot. My favourite part of the school is the baking that happens on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the kids come in and knead their own dough first thing in the morning, and the teacher pops it in the oven while the kids head off for their next class and then they all come back in to eat the bread they made for morning tea! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the kids take an outdoor walk through the nature reserve, something I really love about them as well! The school is relatively new so the student count isn't massive, which was a huge plus point for me because it means students can get more one on one time with the teachers! Last but not least, meals are all prepped by the owner herself and are healthy and yummy. Teacher tells me my kid sometimes asks for seconds!
Both of our kids have been attending Whistle Woods since the start of the year, and our experience so far has been nothing short of awesome! All the teachers, including the Principal and Director, put in a lot of effort in building the school's environment, preparing lessons, and most importantly we feel that they authentically and genuinely love the kids and enjoy what they are doing. It is heartening to see the kids run and hug the teachers; and they also come home happily sharing what they have done in school. We are so happy that we made the right decision to send the kids here!
My almost 3YO daughter thoroughly enjoyed the holiday program at Whistle Woods! The program was widely varied and she had many wonderful first experiences here. The teachers are all gentle and caring. Though our time here was not too long, I felt that they truly loved and bonded with her. The facilities were also very clean and airy. I was blown away by the fact that meals were all prepared in house by the owner herself. Every meal was nutritious and healthy and was well complimented by my daughter! Communication with teachers and the team was also super easy and open. We travelled from the east to join the holiday program and would do so again in a heartbeat!
A hidden gem - teachers are passionate about their crafts & creation of teaching materials (some done even from scratch). They value and respect each child as an individual; our children enjoyed the rich engagement everyday with the low ratio; and experienced the joy of learning at the school! Love the tech free environment & also the calmness and quietness of the space - a much needed sanctuary for our children to learn and regulate in their early years; on top of that their nature walks taught my children to slow down/ stop and observe - thanks to the guidance of the teachers!
Beautiful campus next to the green corridor, and a very loving team of teachers. My daughter had a lovely time with Whistle Woods.

Whistle Woods Schoolhouse operates on a monthly recurring fee model and is priced at the mid-range tier ($$) for infant care. Beyond the base monthly fee, families should ask about a one-time registration fee and a deposit (typically equivalent to two months' fees) payable upon securing a place. Some centres also charge separately for uniforms and group insurance coverage. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly figure quoted should be the amount you pay. Always confirm in writing what is and is not included in the monthly fee before signing the parent contract. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in licensed infant care centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month. Working mothers who clock 56 hours or more of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS). For lower-income families, the Additional Subsidy (AdS) is income-tested and can bring the combined subsidy to up to S$710 per month when taken together with the WMS. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at a reduced quantum. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so refer directly to the ECDA website for the most current figures before making financial plans. Note that Whistle Woods Schoolhouse does not currently list an ECDA licence on this directory. Confirm with the centre directly that it is ECDA-approved, as subsidy claims can only be made at licensed centres.
Infant care places in Singapore are in high demand, and it is common for popular centres to have waitlists stretching three to twelve months ahead. January is the peak intake month, so families with a child due in the second half of the year should ideally begin enquiring around the time of birth confirmation, or even earlier. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Whistle Woods Schoolhouse directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your intended start month and to understand their specific registration process.
