Called locksmith on Saturday 8pm as I’m locked outside of my hdb. I called them for unlocking the main door and my bedroom door and they quote me $120. After 30mins, 1 indian technician arrived and he asked me abt my main door. It has left and right side and he said he needs to open the side ledger. I said it’s not possible since the ledger is inside the door (if u can imagine). So he used some screwdrivers and start knocking at my door edges but after 15mins the side ledger still not opened. At this point, thankfully one of my housemate (we rented the unit) came back and i immediately ask her to open the main door, since the technician is still not able to unlock. When we opened the door we notice some bent & scratches on the edges, but since this is my 1st locksmith experience I was not aware it can cause these damage. The technician doesn’t communicate to me beforehand that it can damage the door edge (his boss insisted that he told me but he did not!). Bedroom door is successfully unlocked within 5 mins no issue. Before he left i kept asking the technician, can you fix the bent and scratches, he kept saying no and looks like he can’t wait to leave. After repeated asking he used his plier to bent the edges but still a lil bit crooked. He also said he cannot do anything about the scratches. The attitude of the technician is terrible and arrogant; he does not communicate well and start work like he owns the place (even i do not own the place) and is not helpful if i ask him for extra help (just want to say no and leave). The next day i tried calling the owner, for 1 hour he tried to avoid my calls but eventually picked up. Then he said the technician alrd say need to open the side ledger and of course the knocking of door edge will have damage. I said i am not aware of that bcz this is my 1st time engaging locksmith and if i knew that, i would have called my housemate. He gaslight me and say ‘have one la’ ‘i dont know la’ . i keep insisting he come back and fix the bent and scratches, Then the boss said ‘aiya this one u paint” urself can alrd what “ Talk so easy. So i tell him “ah then u ask ur people to come lo” He wants to charge me $100 I said no Then he blamed me that i let the tech open the side ledger I said yes but I don’t give him permission to break my door edges In the end i said “i dont care u come down and fix it” He said “if u dun care just throw away the door la” Then hung up Attached are the photos of the bent

I was locked out of my place at 11pm, they were fast at replying and came down within 15-20 minutes, opened the door within 2 mins and fixed the door knob within 10 mins!!!! Plus the previous door wasn’t closing properly so they also fixed it so that it shuts properly! AMAZING WORK THANK YOU WHIZLOCK, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS
