About Willow Stream Spa Fairmont

About Willow Stream Spa Fairmont

Willow Stream Spa Fairmont is a holistic wellness provider located at 80 Bras Basah Road within the Fairmont Singapore hotel. It holds a KakiList verification and carries a 4.2 out of 5 rating across 64 Google reviews, a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. Pricing is positioned in the mid-to-upper range ($$), though specific per-session fees were not provided to KakiList at the time of listing.

Prospective clients typically begin with a phone call or online enquiry form to discuss their wellness goal — whether that is stress relief, muscle recovery, skin treatment, or a broader holistic programme. From there, an initial consultation helps the therapist understand any contraindications, preferred pressure or technique, and whether a single session or a recurring package best suits the client's needs. Cancellation and no-show policies are worth confirming at the time of booking, particularly for longer treatments where the time slot carries a higher opportunity cost for the therapist.

To take the next step, reach Willow Stream Spa Fairmont by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page to check availability and confirm session pricing before your first visit.

Thank you Mookie for my aromatherapy 60 minute massage- great facilities to use before the spa, the room had a very calming ambience and overall a very relaxing experience. Staff are extremely attentive and kind.

Kelly is highly skilled in what she does. Highly recommended. She is friendly, focused and highly professional. However, the other staff who did the facial treatment for my mother, while highly skilled as well, was highly unprofessional. She obtained my mum's contact number from her while doing her professional duty and gave unsolicited advice to my mother. Fortunately my elderly mum did not take her advice seriously, otherwise she would have gotten into serious trouble, and actually told me what happened in the treatment room. This is totally unprofessional from the staff from a luxury hotel.

On April 6th, 2024, Saturday at 12:40 pm, while in the cold pool, my left foot, near the big toe, became stuck in the suction hole at the pool's bottom near the steps. I initially felt pain but was unaware of the continuous bleeding until I exited the pool five minutes later. Spa staff members Uncle Chong and Rosman attempted to stop the bleeding with tissue paper and ice, but the bleeding persisted. Eventually, Rosman notified the management, and I was escorted to the spa lobby where several staff members in suits arrived with a first aid kit. Despite their efforts to wash and treat the wound, it continued to bleed profusely, leading them to simply bandage it up. A female staff member abruptly suggested that I leave without inquiring about seeking medical attention. Since it was a Saturday and nearing 1:00 pm when I departed, all clinics were closed, leaving me no choice but to visit a private hospital. There, I received treatment that included an injection, antibiotics, pain relievers, and dressing, totaling $520.16. Following this incident, I engaged in email correspondence with the spa director. Despite sending her video evidence of the uncovered, rusty hole that caused my injury during a subsequent visit to Willow Spa on April 19th, 2024, at 3:39 pm with a GoPro 10 underwater camera, the director asserted that the spa was not at fault for my injuries and declined to cover my medical expenses. I am deeply disappointed by the spa's response and feel the need for a more equitable resolution. Given my financial constraints, I am unable to pursue legal action and am hopeful for a fair outcome through social media. If you were in my position, how would you handle this situation, and do you believe my frustration and disappointment are justified?

Deep tissue massage was not bad but the facilities were so old and dated. For the price I paid, I would not come back.

It's a centrally located place and is part of the fair on hotel in bras basah. They have tennis courts. Swimming pool. Health club and spa. Which can be booked. You don't need membership.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Willow Stream Spa Fairmont charge per session?

Willow Stream Spa Fairmont has not published a specific per-session rate on this listing. For holistic spa treatments in Singapore, typical market rates range from S$120 to S$350 per session depending on treatment duration and type, with premium hotel-based spas generally sitting at the upper end of that band. Package pricing — typically a bundle of three to six sessions — usually offers a per-session saving of 10–20% compared to walk-in rates. Confirm the base rate, whether a first-consultation fee applies separately, and the no-show or cancellation policy before booking. Ask whether GST is included in the quoted price, as GST applies to wellness services in Singapore. See the full Holistic cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No formal referral is required to book at Willow Stream Spa Fairmont. Most holistic wellness providers conduct a brief intake assessment at the start of your first visit — typically a short questionnaire covering medical history, current medications, skin sensitivities, and any areas to avoid. This helps the therapist tailor the session safely. If you are managing a specific condition such as a musculoskeletal injury, pregnancy, cardiovascular issue, or a skin condition, it is worth mentioning this when you book so the team can confirm whether the treatment is appropriate or recommend a modified approach. A GP referral is not required for most holistic treatments, but can be useful if you intend to make an insurance claim, as some policies require a referral letter to process a wellness benefit.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Holistic spa therapists in Singapore are not regulated under a single statutory licensing board in the same way that physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB) are. This means there is no public register to cross-check spa therapist credentials directly. Professional affiliations, in-house training standards, and the hotel-level oversight at a property such as Fairmont Singapore serve as the primary quality signals in this segment. No specific regulatory licences for Willow Stream Spa Fairmont were provided to KakiList at the time of listing. Before your appointment, it is reasonable to ask about the lead therapist's training background, years of practice, and whether the spa carries professional indemnity or public liability insurance. Confirm the practitioner's qualifications match the specific treatment you are booking — for example, remedial massage versus aromatherapy versus energy-based modalities carry different training requirements.
