About Winning English Singapore

About Winning English Singapore

Winning English Singapore is an English enrichment provider offering holiday camps, based at The Concourse on Beach Road and serving students islandwide. The listing is KakiList-verified, and the centre holds a 5/5 rating across 264 Google reviews — a robust sample that lends weight to the score. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) band, though specific session or camp fees are not publicly listed.

Parents looking to enrol their child would typically begin by enquiring about the appropriate level and syllabus fit — whether the camp targets primary, secondary, or a particular examination format. Holiday camps are usually scheduled around the school calendar, so confirming available intake dates early is advisable. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, what the typical class size is, and how the curriculum is structured across the camp duration. A trial class or assessment session, where offered, is a useful way to gauge whether the pace and teaching style suit the child before committing to a full programme.

To find out about upcoming holiday camp dates, level placement, and fees, contact Winning English Singapore directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing.

I enrolled for the Graduate Diploma in TESOL course at the British Education Centre in late 2019 and it has been a wonderful and enriching experience to say the least. I have gained more than what I have expected. Special thanks to the teachers Alvina and Kennedy. They have made the lessons fun and engaging. Also, thanks to Yu Chin who provided excellent admin support. I have also made some good friends during the course and I believe the friendship nurtured will go a long way. If you are considering the TESOL course, I'd highly recommend the British Education Centre.

I have been a student of BEC over the last 4 months. It has been a most enriching and fruitful journey as I learnt the required skills and knowledge necessary for me to become an effective English teacher. My teachers were very good tutors and English speaking role models for me. They imparted their skills and experience to me, even making sure that I learnt some of the finer points in teaching English, especially if I'm going to teach foreign students. I will highly recommend BEC to anyone aspiring to be an English teacher!

Thankful for the enriching experience in BEC. Due to the pandemic, classes for 2 modules were held online and the other two were face-to-face session. Lessons were very engaging and lots of hands-on for students to practice. Teachers were very experienced and professional. Yu Chin is highly supportive and is quick to respond to queries. Sessions are quite flexible, making it easier to adjust to your schedules. Overall, I had a wonderful learning experience and would recommend to those who would like to take up TESOL.

Thank you BEC for such an enriching learning journey. What started out as a random enquiry on the Diploma in TESOL during the circuit breaker, turned out to be such a fulfilling journey. Special mention to one of the administrative staff, Yu Chin, who has been very helpful and dedicated throughout in providing prompt updates and assistance. The instructors were also very engaging (Kudos to Joan and Alvina) and they make the 2 weeks intensive lessons very enjoyable. I have also met some lovely classmates and picked up different insights and skills that were shared. Overall, I really enjoyed the course and would highly recommend BEC if you are considering to take up the diploma in TESOL.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Winning English Singapore charge per session?

Winning English Singapore is priced in the mid-range ($$) band, but specific per-session or per-camp fees are not publicly listed at the time of writing. Holiday camp programmes are typically priced as a block — covering the full duration of the camp rather than individual sessions — so the per-day cost depends on the number of days in the programme. It is worth confirming whether a materials fee applies separately, whether there are sibling or early-bird discounts, and what the cancellation or refund policy is if dates change. Can I try a class before committing?

Whether Winning English Singapore offers a standalone trial class before a full holiday camp enrolment is best confirmed by contacting the centre directly, as trial policies vary between providers. When assessing fit, look at how the child engages during the session — whether the level feels appropriately challenging, whether the teaching style holds the child's attention, and whether the group dynamic suits their learning personality. For holiday camps in particular, it is also useful to ask how the programme is paced across the days and what outcomes parents can expect by the end.

What are the tutors' credentials at Winning English Singapore?

Specific tutor credentials — such as NIE or MOE teaching background, degree qualifications, or years of experience — are not listed in the publicly available information for Winning English Singapore. The centre's 5/5 rating across 264 Google reviews suggests consistent parent and student satisfaction, though credentials are best verified directly. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether teachers have formal training in English language instruction, how long they have been teaching, and whether the curriculum is aligned to the Singapore MOE syllabus or designed as a standalone enrichment framework.
