Prospective students or parents should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the studio teaches classical, contemporary, or graded repertoire (such as ABRSM or Trinity syllabuses), and whether lessons are available one-to-one or in small groups. It is worth asking about the experience and qualifications of individual violin tutors, the minimum age accepted, and whether a trial class is available before committing to a term. Clarify whether lessons are conducted in person at the studio's premises near postal code 238843, online, or at an outreach location, and confirm the term commitment and cancellation policy upfront.
To take the next step, reach out to Wolfgang Violin Studio via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability, your child's or your own starting level, and whether a trial lesson can be arranged before you commit to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful violin teacher, Teacher Ria for our son. From the very first lesson, she has been patient, encouraging, and incredibly skilled at making each session engaging and productive. Our son has not only improved tremendously in his technique and confidence, but he also looks forward to every lesson — a true testament to her teaching style. She balances discipline with warmth, and tailors her approach to suit each student’s pace and personality. Highly recommended for any parent looking to nurture their child’s love for music in a supportive and inspiring environment!
Not satisfied with my children's lessons and progress. In fact, it took me much persuasion to keep them from quitting. Owner has bad rep in the professional music scene and most cringe hearing the name. The DSA success stories they brag about, none are from top schools that matters. Even my 8 year old can tell me that her teacher is unhappy there.
We enjoy violin lessons with Teacher Ria. What is interesting with her approach is using analogies to make the techniques easier to understand for a young child. She ensures that my child progresses and pays close attention to her areas of growth. Her encouraging tone provides motivation and inspires my daughter to continue to hone her skills.
Teacher Ria has been teaching my daughter (En) violin for just over two years, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. She is incredibly patient, kind, and fantastic with young children. From the very beginning, she made lessons fun and approachable, which really helped my daughter build confidence and enjoy learning. Teacher Ria is very knowledgeable and knows how to pace her lessons to suit each child’s learning pace and style, ensuring they feel supported rather than rushed. Her lessons are always well-structured, yet flexible enough to accommodate the child’s mood or energy level on any given day. She’s also very encouraging, gentle, and always finds ways to keep her students motivated. I’ve seen so much growth in my daughter — not just in her violin skills, but also in her confidence and love for music. We’re very happy to have Ria as part of our daughter’s journey. She has a special gift with kids and a genuine passion for teaching — highly, highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Teacher Sanwin has been my teacher for 2 years now and I’m really thankful to get to study under his guidance! He’s really experienced ;I’m amazed every time he plays out a passage as a preview before I learn it; and most importantly great in teaching! it’s easy to understand the message he’s trying to get across (I’m an overseas student so I have lessons online) He always helps me with all my questions and concerns.. When I’m doubting myself, he gives me advice I needed to hear, and it gives me encouragement to keep going! I’ve improved alot over such a short time, thanks to my thoughtful teacher and Wolfgang Violin Studio

Wolfgang Violin Studio displays a S$$ price tier on its KakiList listing, but specific per-session or monthly package rates are not publicly published. In Singapore, private violin lessons typically range from S$50–S$120 per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the tutor's qualifications, lesson duration, and whether classes are held at the studio or online. Group classes tend to be more affordable, often structured as term packages rather than individual sessions. It is worth asking about trial class fees, whether materials such as music scores are included, and whether sibling or block-booking discounts apply. Some studios charge a registration or administrative fee at enrolment. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music studios in Singapore offer a trial lesson, sometimes at a reduced rate or as part of the first session fee, before a student commits to a full term. A trial class is an opportunity to assess whether the teaching style suits the learner, whether the pace and repertoire are appropriate for the current level, and whether there is good rapport between student and tutor. When attending a trial, observe how the tutor corrects technique, explains new concepts, and keeps the student engaged. For younger children, note how the tutor manages attention and encouragement. Contact Wolfgang Violin Studio directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm whether a trial lesson is available and what it costs.
Specific tutor credentials for Wolfgang Violin Studio are not listed in the available provider data. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each tutor's formal training — for example, whether they hold a music degree or diploma, have prior teaching experience, and are familiar with graded examination syllabuses such as ABRSM or Trinity Guildhall if that is relevant to your goals. For students preparing for formal examinations, syllabus alignment matters; confirm that the tutor teaches to the specific board and grade required. If you are looking for performance coaching or adult beginner lessons rather than graded work, ask about the tutor's experience in that area specifically. Contact Wolfgang Violin Studio directly to ask about the teaching team.
