The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. Families considering Yunshan Chinese should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the curriculum aligns with MOE primary or secondary Chinese, PSLE preparation, or conversational fluency goals. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects pacing and cost. Prospective students are encouraged to enquire about a trial class to assess whether the teaching approach and difficulty level suit the child before committing to a term. Availability of online sessions versus in-person attendance at the Raffles Boulevard location is also worth confirming, particularly for families based in other parts of the island.

To take the next step, contact Yunshan Chinese directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current class schedules, appropriate level placement, and trial class arrangements.

Food is tasty. Price is considered reasonable at Millennia Walk. Restaurant is spacious n seating is comfortable. Order at kiosk, collect order when no. is called n return tray. There's little interaction- good for introverts 🤭 Preserved veg fish soup is tasty. Bowls look big but r actually shallow so portion is not too big but just right for ladies. Take note order kisok doesn't not take in special request.

Came here twice within the same week even though I don’t stay or work nearby, that says a lot. Their signature mixian is honestly one of the best I’ve had in Singapore (the other one I like is 正南柒百). First visit I had the signature minced pork spicy rice noodles. Saw the next table having the stir-fried beef with pickled chilli and mashed potato noodles, looked so good that I came back again two days later to try them. My favourites are the signature minced pork mixian and the stir-fried beef with pickled chilli the beef is really good, good to go with rice. Food is not expensive at all and very worth it. The mashed potato noodles are okay but a bit heavy after a while (potato + noodles), very 腻and I personally prefer something spicier. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes!! Only downside is the service. One of the staff had difficulty communicating in both English and Chinese, which made things a bit awkward. She also kept reminding us to leave from around 9pm( we had finished our food but want to chit chat a bit) , even though Google shows the closing time as 10pm, which made the experience feel rushed.

Must go early during lunch hour, otherwise the queue gets really long. Good spot for a short lunch break since you can’t sit for long — once you’re done eating, it’s time to leave. The soup was flavorful, the spicy beef was delicious, though the portion was a bit on the small side.

Ordered the mala bridge crossing mi xian — the broth was nice but nothing exceptional. The mala wasn’t very spicy, more like chilli oil with mild heat. It comes with a chicken drumstick, and the portion is quite generous. Overall, a decent bowl of noodles when you’re craving something warm and soupy, though not particularly memorable.

I would say their rice sets are very value for money - mapo tofu set $8.90, stir fry pork set $14.90, stir fry chilli beef $15.90, lu rou fan $10.90 Their rice is so fluffy and nice, my 3 year old son asked for 2 bowls. The dishes are very good and not the usual oily kind that most chinese food is like, even their 口水鸡 & mapo tofu are surprisingly not oily yet delicious. They are generous w their rice portion too, when I went w my sister previously we couldnt even finish the 1 pot that comes w each set and cos we ordered 2 sets, we ended up packing away more than 1 pot of rice, and the rice is just too good to not pack away! The auntie who cleans up the table after we are done was always very friendly and helpful both times I visited, very commendable attitude! 4th visit - finally tried their cross bridge noodles, so generous portion! Huge chicken leg & still have luncheon meat, big bowl of soup & noodles.. brought my parents this time & they also loved the food & pricing. Definitely comfort food for us!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Yunshan Chinese" charge per session?

Yunshan Chinese has not published a specific per-session rate publicly. For Chinese language enrichment in Singapore, group classes typically range from S$30–60 per session, while one-to-one tuition commonly runs S$60–120 or more per session depending on the tutor's background and the student's level. Some providers bundle sessions into monthly or termly packages, which may offer a modest discount over ad hoc bookings. It is advisable to ask about any registration or materials fees upfront, as these are sometimes charged separately. Sibling discounts or package deals for multiple sessions per week may also be available. Contact Yunshan Chinese directly for a current fee schedule. See the full Enrichment Classes cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Many Chinese language enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee, to allow the child and parent to assess fit before committing to a full term. During a trial session, it is worth observing whether the pace suits the child's current level, whether the teaching style holds the child's attention, and whether the class size allows sufficient individual attention. Parents should also use the trial to ask about syllabus alignment — for example, whether the content tracks MOE school curriculum, PSLE Chinese requirements, or is aimed at building spoken fluency independently of the school syllabus. Contact Yunshan Chinese to confirm their trial class policy and any associated fee.

What are the tutors' credentials at "Yunshan Chinese"?

Specific tutor credentials for Yunshan Chinese are not publicly listed. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in Chinese language, linguistics, or education, and whether any have an NIE teaching qualification or prior MOE school teaching experience. Alignment with the current MOE Chinese syllabus is particularly relevant for students preparing for school examinations or PSLE. For enrichment focused on conversational Mandarin or Chinese culture, formal teaching qualifications matter less than practical fluency and structured methodology. If credentials are important to your decision, ask Yunshan Chinese directly for tutor profiles before committing to a term.
