Dr Keh Yu Jia is very professional and highly recommended! She is patient and detailed at explaining each procedure and issues. She makes sure that you are well taken care and keeping pain to a minimum. The dental assistant/nurses here are also very capable - they know what they are doing; making the entire process very comfortable. Having been to multiple dental clinics, my experience here has been the best so far.

Dr. Keh was amazing during my gum surgery. She was incredibly patient and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped put me at ease. I’ve been seeing her for a few years now and have always felt well cared for.! The receptionists at the counter were lovely too! They were helpful and took the time to walk me through the billing, which I really appreciated. Overall, a very reassuring and positive experience!

I finally tackled my not-so-wise wisdom tooth that’s been bothering me for ages! The day of the extraction arrived, and I was a bundle of nerves couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, just thinking about it! But guess what? Once the local anesthesia kicked in, I felt absolutely no pain at all! The dentist and their amazing assistant were incredibly reassuring and patient with me throughout the whole process. It was a whirlwind, and in just 30 minutes, both my upper and lower teeth were taken care of! A huge shoutout to Dr. Jacomus and the entire team for making this experience so smooth! I’m so relieved and ready to enjoy tooth-friendly treats again! 🎉 Bonus: Good looking Dr and pretty assistant 🤪

It’s my first time here and I picked it as I’ve read many good reviews. Went in due to some pain caused by the back of my teeth, and it was really difficult to find the cause of it, but Dr Celine is super patient and kind, trying to find out every possible reason. Still unsure of the exact reason, might be due to my wisdom tooth but glad that she tried to find out (still having some shooting pain occasionally tho but not much we could do about it due to the situation 😅) But everyone is super nice and sweet!! And honestly I’ve always been afraid of going to the dentist but with their efficient services and kindness it’s not that scary! 10/10 recommend them to everyone!

I had been afraid of doing a tooth implant for almost 2 years, but Dr Aaron Tan managed to completely ease my fears within 5 minutes of consultation. The whole procedure itself took only about 5 minutes, which was honestly amazing. I’m really glad I made this decision. Thank you, Dr Tan, for being so skillful, reassuring, and professional. Highly recommended!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does 1728 Dental (Bedok) charge per session?

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by procedure. A standard consultation and examination typically runs S$30–80, scaling and polishing S$60–150, a basic composite filling S$80–200 per tooth, a simple extraction S$80–200, and more involved work such as root canal treatment S$600–1,500 or a crown S$1,000–2,500. GST applies on top of all fees. CHAS cardholders (Blue, Orange, or Green) are eligible for subsidised rates at CHAS-enrolled dental clinics for specific procedures. Medisave can be used for approved surgical dental procedures such as wisdom tooth surgery (up to S$950–1,250 per tooth depending on surgical complexity). Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No referral is required to book a standard dental consultation — patients can contact 1728 Dental (Bedok) directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form. At your first visit, expect a clinical examination and, where clinically indicated, periapical or panoramic X-rays to give the dentist a complete picture of your oral health. If you have a specific concern — pain, swelling, a broken tooth, or an orthodontic query — mention it when booking so the practice can allocate sufficient appointment time and prepare accordingly. Patients with complex medical histories (blood thinners, bisphosphonate therapy, immunosuppression, heart valve conditions) should inform the clinic in advance, as these affect treatment planning and anaesthetic choices. A GP referral is not typically needed for dental care but can be useful when claiming under certain integrated shield plan riders.

Is the practitioner licensed?

All dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), which operates under the Dental Registration Act. You can verify any dentist's registration — and confirm it is current and in good standing — on the SDC's publicly accessible online register at sdc.gov.sg. Specialists in orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, periodontics, endodontics, or prosthodontics hold additional specialist registration with the SDC and should be listed on the specialist register. No regulatory licences are currently listed for 1728 Dental (Bedok) in this directory entry, so patients are encouraged to ask the clinic directly for the name(s) of the registered dentist(s) on duty and verify their SDC registration before proceeding with treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
